Based on customer reviews, Joe Donut Mt Prospect is a great spot with friendly staff and a very clean store, bathrooms, and loot. The food and donuts are great, with top-tier donuts like the Blueberry Old Fashion, which is fragrant and soft with no after taste. Other popular items include the Sidecar, Boston Cream, caramel high rise, and the old fashioned blueberry. The sausage gravy is to die for, and the biscuits are ridiculously delicious. The steak and egger is amazing, and the European breakfast is flawless. The Nutella banana waffles and the double patty burger with sautéed onions are also highly recommended, along with the chicken tenders. Prices are in line with the quality ingredients. A common complaint is that the restaurant is frequently out of donuts, but this shows how good they are. The cold brew is also great and crave-worthy. The staff is personable, kind, and accommodating, even allowing a well-behaved dog inside. This place is well worth every penny.
