“We had drinks and dinner at Mundelein restaurant on Saturday 10/5/24. We didn’t have reservations so we ate at the bar. It was all excellent! Friendly staff and the bartender made an excellent Margarita! Will be going back“

“I've been trying local places around. So far this is my favorite Chinese. I will say, i was hesitant to try due to the prices. I'm can be very cheap at times. But the food looked good in the pictures and the restaurant has been in business for 50+ years so i decided to give in a try last week. I ordered the chicken and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, pork egg foo yung, pot stickers and crab ragoon. When i tried that pot sticker, it was the most delicious pot sticker i have ever eaten. And the egg foo young, delicious! Tasty flavorful sauce and the patty texture, egg to bean sprout and meat ratio, and taste was perfect! I have been searching for that consistency in an egg foo young for years and finally found it here. The other dishes were delicious as well. I requested for the chicken and broccoli to be in white sauce. Yum! It was worth every penny. Take my money please! I came back again today. I had to. I got the chicken egg foo young and more pot stickers. An order for myself and one for my husband. He loves the pot stickers as well. While i was there both times, i saw a lot of people come in to dine in and get drinks. Seems like a very chill environment to come have some food and drinks with friends. I am very satisfied with this restaurant. It has been a royal experience. Hope they stay open for the next 50 years!“
“A fun and local establishment. They offer a great place to meet up for drinks or a night out. Featuring bands and events, the real sleeper is SINGO! Great fun with friends and rocking out to a jukebox approach to bingo but using music. Highly recommended!“

“It's a convenient place to dine when staying at the hotel. The menu is very limited and provides your basic food distributor options. The ladies who were bartenders my first week there were great. On my return trip, there was a gent behind the bar, and he was not remotely close to as friendly or prompt as the ladies (one was in training-1st night) .“

“variety of Indian breads, loved the Onion Kulcha! incredibly delicious taste and levels of spicyness are offered with every dish! no more spice overwhelm which can ruin the subtle tastes in Indian cuisine. courteous staff, gracious and available servers. Loved Aloo & cauliflower dish My partner enjoyed robust Dal dish which had veggie tidbits to round out flavor. we loved the food here. Best Indian fare in the area!“

“We had fish fry-baked cod, and baked perch, hush puppies, amazing potato salad and coleslaw. Really good! Pleasantly surprised! Good service, too.“

“There is nothing about this place I don't recommend. The meads are amazing, their Cocktail Master is amazing at coming up with unusual combinations, and is great fun to talk to. The music mix is great as well (but possibly because I'm old 😁)! Overall, the place is extremely welcoming, with a selection of games and sofas so you can sit and enjoy your drinks and socialize.“

“I totally enjoy the skill of all the wait staff, their ability to inform, enjoy conversation, and do the run down on what the band is like. Owners Tom & Karen are gregarious, fun, interesting people and provide GREAT talented local musicians. The music scene in Wauconda, Illinois is 10 out of ten...bar hopping encouraged. French Martini with Chambourg, an 11 and one drink, my limit...usually. Dancing...FUN! Especially when Karen agrees. Lol. And occasionally, or perhaps too often singing back up to Motown song fulfills my fantasy to be a Temptation, a Top, Little Stevie Wonder, or Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell. And yes, the Jackson 5. But there's no mountain higher than backup to a Supremes song, except for a Diana song, or Tina is Simply The Best! But Diana's he PEAK, & so is STRAWBERRY MOON. CHECK IT OUT. WAKANDA FOREVER, on Main Street“

“We had the use of Bliss from 1-5 on a Saturday when they are normally closed.
We hosted a birthday party with 45 people attending, had it catered locally, and hired a 3 piece band playing amplified acoustic music. Owner Alex bartended and did a wonderful job. It’s a lovely and comfortable old building in a great location with an owner that has his head in a very good place. We give it an 11 out of 10. Thanks again Alex.“

“What a pleasant change from all the chain restaurants. The owner is someone who loves what he does, takes time to visit your table, and serves recipes handed down from his grandmother and mother. The food is prepared using the freshest of ingredients. The noise level enabled us to easily carry on a conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.“

“I love dive bars. Hilltop is perfect in my opinion. Cheap drinks, Great service and low lighting. Is there anything else we need for a good dive? It doesn't smell funky, which is hard to find in the area . Great place to play pool or gamble on your evening out.“

“I had my 50th birthday party there and it was amazing! Becky is an awesome bartender and DJ Karma did not disappoint! He had the house rockin' all night!! I would recommend this place to everyone!!“
“This is a dive bar. I did have wings, they were good, but not like, Michelin Star good, just dive bar good.The service has been excellent. “The food is fire with an extensive eastern euro & Asian fusion menu. Def need to come back to try more of the items. But the Balkan salad, Phili roll and lamb chop mangal was delish. Loved the eye for interior detail. I think they throw parties here and def need to check that out next time“

The place needs to at least have a sign that says firehouse! It just looks like a plain white house, my friends have had a hard time trying to find it.
At least paint a "Firehouse with fire trucks" or even better do huge flames 🔥 to make it stand out. It always looks like it is closed, empty and uninviting.“

This is a family of different personalities- 6 gaming machines-- Friday night pool games- yes we may be "ran down" compared to some but we make up for our cosmetic shortcomings with spicy and unique bartenders and regulars!
