Went here for my bday and they even did the cutest thing with putting a candle on a stack of almond cookies with fortune cookes surrounding it to sing to me. The waiter was polite and the wife of the cook, which I assume is also the owner, was extremely warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back and reccomend to our friends.“

On my return trip, there was a gent behind the bar, and he was not remotely close to as friendly or prompt as the ladies (one was in training-1st night) .“

“There is nothing about this place I don't recommend. The meads are amazing, their Cocktail Master is amazing at coming up with unusual combinations, and is great fun to talk to. The music mix is great as well (but possibly because I'm old 😁)! Overall, the place is extremely welcoming, with a selection of games and sofas so you can sit and enjoy your drinks and socialize.“

The owner Ken O'Connor was extremely knowledgeable about wine, particularly Italian wines and also has some creative cocktails on the menu. “I was delighted to visit this restaurant! The atmosphere is very cozy, with pleasant decor and attentive staff. Every dish I tried was a real masterpiece, from appetizers to dessert. The assortment of kebabs was especially impressive: its taste, presentation and quality of products were at the highest level.

The service was at an excellent level - the waiters are polite, quickly respond to all requests and help with the choice of dishes.

“I love dive bars. Hilltop is perfect in my opinion. Cheap drinks, Great service and low lighting. Is there anything else we need for a good dive? It doesn't smell funky, which is hard to find in the area . Great place to play pool or gamble on your evening out.“

No, they aren't a big bar like in Cheers, they are a local wine bar with a wide variety of wines for every budget. And the owner, Alex takes the time to connect with each of the patrons and quick to make a recommendation of a wine you will like. It's not fancy but you will feel welcome for sure. They will have live music from time to time and if you join the Wine Club you will get to experience a variety of unique wines that you wont find at the big wine stores. My wife and I love this place.“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! “PS Pub truly exhibits everything a neighborhood bar is supposed to be good people unwinding enjoying different ales and spirits sharing conversation and having a laugh. up until now I've always shopped at the liquor store next door, I stopped in for my favorite blue moon with a wedge of Orange ice cold and on tap well I guess I found myself having a few and when I'm feeling that way I gaze upon the pretty bottles of spirits Tequila's rums whiskeys from all over the place and that little demon in my belly says "send it my way" so I settled on a peanut butter whiskey I love them if that's your thing you know they have malort which I've never actually tried I hear it's an acquired taste perhaps another time they've got a nice little popcorn machine that puts it out I like to snack a bit while I'm putting them down. friendly service really nice people from the neighborhood and a great place to unwind. so although it doesn't look like much from the outside you know judging that book by its cover thing stop in belly up and enjoy yourself“

There's a selection of sauces at your table. If you have a dining pass, I would suggest visiting this place. If you don't, it will cost you a good penny (18-16 per entree, that does include a side).“

The place needs to at least have a sign that says firehouse! It just looks like a plain white house, my friends have had a hard time trying to find it.
At least paint a "Firehouse with fire trucks" or even better do huge flames 🔥 to make it stand out. It always looks like it is closed, empty and uninviting.“

“The kind-of-like chicken Tortilla soup was very tasty & VERY hot. The Glog had a different taste than I'm used to, but it tasted okay and was heated to the correct temperature.

Another person had the broasted chicken that had been recommended, and if he could, he probably would have devoured the bones!

My mom had the tacos and said they were yummy.

My next visit I had sangria & the Thanksgiving sandwich & friend had the tuna tacos.
