“Good food and good service!!! Our server, Kristen, was great. My wife and niece both ordered a burger and split an appetizer of deep fried mushrooms. Breakfast is available all day so I opted for biscuits and gravy with eggs. Yep, it was a good choice. Best I've found around here. And, Kristen kept showing up with the coffee pot to fill our cups. Next time I'm in Jacksonville, I know where I'm going to grab a bite to eat.“

“We had Father’s day lunch here and it was amazing. We had a party of 7 and the staff was so friendly! The food was excellent! Everyone ordered something different and everyone loved their meal. “We were winding down for the night and needed a good late-night bite, so we decided to stop by The Hangout—and we’re so glad we did! The bartender working Wednesday night (wish I caught her name!) was absolutely amazing. She crafted the most delicious custom drinks for us—just the way we like them: strong, but smooth enough that you’d never know it. 👍🏿👍🏿

“My husband and I live in Granite City and yesterday we made the trip to Manchester, IL (near Roodhouse) to visit my husband's dad's grave. On the way home we stopped here. It was obvious from the second we walked in that it was family-owned type of place. Very welcoming and friendly environment. Our waitress was the owner's daughter, and she couldn't have been sweeter. We split a double cheeseburger, fish and fries. Very good food and service! We definitely plan to go back, and we would absolutely recommend this place to others. :-)“

“Not often do I make a point to leave a review. But anytime there is 5 star service and 5 Star quality food you don’t often get the Places deserves the recognition. For being a chain restaurant you often don’t find yourself amazed by the food and the service. Had a new menu item that we got the pleasure of trying. “We called to give an order for pickup. The person who talked on the phone to me was hard to understand and was very rude and hung up on me before I finish talking to her. I have never talked to anyone in a fast food restaurant taking my order that was ever that rude before. She was obviously in a bad mood when she answered the phone.

“Cheapest food in town. Servings are smaller than what you might get from other venders but the service is quick and the food decent. Actually got change back from a 20 bill. Somewhat noisy atmosphere but lots of family's come here for parties & to save money. Depends on what is most important to your eating experience.“

“Stopped for lunch with a friend, was a pretty busy Friday lunch rush. However, our waitress Lindsey was friendly, funny, and very attentive to us anyway. Recommended the lunch special, food was great! ( street tacos were excellent) Service was fast and great! Drinks stayed full, food was fresh, and she made sure we were taken care of promptly.
