“Good food and good service!!! Our server, Kristen, was great. My wife and niece both ordered a burger and split an appetizer of deep fried mushrooms. Breakfast is available all day so I opted for biscuits and gravy with eggs. Yep, it was a good choice. Best I've found around here. And, Kristen kept showing up with the coffee pot to fill our cups. Next time I'm in Jacksonville, I know where I'm going to grab a bite to eat.“

“My husband and I live in Granite City and yesterday we made the trip to Manchester, IL (near Roodhouse) to visit my husband's dad's grave. On the way home we stopped here. It was obvious from the second we walked in that it was family-owned type of place. Very welcoming and friendly environment. Our waitress was the owner's daughter, and she couldn't have been sweeter. We split a double cheeseburger, fish and fries. Very good food and service! We definitely plan to go back, and we would absolutely recommend this place to others. :-)“

“A relaxing spot for drinks and food. The BEST FRY FISH IN THE AREA HANDS DOWN!!! I was lucky enough to come by on a Friday night when they have fish fry buffet!! So full for under 30 bucks,including a 10 dollar tip. A must if the area. You won't be disappointed,this is from a truck driver passing through..... 😎“

“Just got carside to go. My order was ready at the time stated on online order. The person delivering it was pleasant and courteous. On arrival home, I was pleased to find everything packaged well so there was no spillage etc. cold things were cold and hot were hot. I was concerned because I had a rather large order of multiple temperatures. I’ll definitely order again using this service. 👍🏻👍🏻“

“I ordered crab rangoon and beef & broccoli for carry out. I ordered online and it was very easy. The food was ready in 10 min. and it was very hot! Very friendly woman at the counter greeted me immediately.
The crab rangoon was awesome!! Each piece was crispy and had lots of filling. The best I have had in a long time. The beef & broccoli was equally as good. The beef was tender and sliced thin with lots of fresh, crisp broccoli. The only thing I could've asked for was a tad more sauce. I will definitely be back again. Thank you China King!“

“Stopped for lunch with a friend, was a pretty busy Friday lunch rush. However, our waitress Lindsey was friendly, funny, and very attentive to us anyway. Recommended the lunch special, food was great! ( street tacos were excellent) Service was fast and great! Drinks stayed full, food was fresh, and she made sure we were taken care of promptly. “The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
