“Your burger gets cooked when you order, so it's fresh. it is a hand packed burger. iam gluten free and they have gluten free buns. I have been here 2 times now and have no complaints. Food is fresh and hot. Haagan Daz ice cream shakes. inside is clean and so are bathrooms. I will come back when in area.“

“Arrived early for our reservation and had no problem being seated even though the luncheon crowd was picking up. Our waiter was wonderful.. wish I could remember his name! Very knowledgeable about the menu and specials for the day. He gave us great suggestions as well. All of our luncheon choices were good and nice portions. The pumpkin pie special dessert for the day was amazing! Ordered it at our waiters suggestion.“

“First time here we were staying at a local hotel and they recommended this establishment to us. 3 in our party and we all had the prefix steak option for 59.00 which was an excellent value and came with a soup or salad, potato or vegetables and a desert. Our server was very good and they kept our cocktails full. That being said martini at 15 and wine at 17 was about average but not overly impressive cocktails. I would tell you to try them if in the area.bill was around 350 with tax and tip.“

“We had a fantastic experience yesterday at Up North Ale House. Our server, Alex, was wonderful. She was attentive and engaging without being intrusive, and she was very good about making sure we had everything we needed at all time. The food was well prepared, tasty and at the right temperature. And the only reason I gave the 4 stars instead of a 5 for the ambience is because we're really not sports bar kind of people, but there was nothing wrong with what we saw. “As many know this is the last standing original looking Burger King which is super cool, but aside from that the real story lies within the stellar staff and excellent food they whip up here. The lady that's usually working the counter and drive thru window towards the night shift is wonderfully positive and gives good vibes all around.

You're here for the food though right? Let me tell you I've never had a bad experience coming here. You know how you can instantly tell a good and bad BK apart? Order a Bacon King and see if they make it right. Bad ones will put 2 slices of cheese on one patty, the correct and best way to do it (as it's even advertised) is to put cheese on both patties. This location does that and that's all that tells me all I need to know. Trust me on that.

Now why is the reason I gave this place 4 stars for the Atmosphere? It's... Kinda boring inside. As you also have probably heard, even though this location is the last remaining original Burger King, the inside has been updated. If you haven't heard, well.. now you know. while I don't know what it looked like back in the day, the place now inside is kinda going for a retro vibe, but it doesn't stick the landing.

Sure it's got the white and black checkered tile, yes it has big comfy booths, and there are pictures of the place when it first opened... But I just feel there could be more retro stuff added to make this place really stand out. However I think I know why Burger King hasn't added more stuff to this place to really make it more eye catching, it's small. The kitchen area seems to make up way more room than there is room in the eating area, so anything else they could add such as old merchandise to display would have to really take into account of how much room it's taking up!

Otherwise that's my take on this place, ignore my nerdy ramblings on the atmosphere, just take in the char broiled smells and perfectly well made fast food goodness, oh and of course don't forget to have it your way~“

“Wow. I have been searching for a good chicken sandwich spot for years since I moved back to Chicagoland. Do-rite is nothing in comparison to this spot. Ask for honey on the side to put on the spice chicken sandwich with coleslaw. The fries are perfection. Hareem was sweet and even turned up the music a little to make the atmosphere more enjoyable. 10/10 will be back at least once a week for the rest of my life.“

“never been talked to in such a rude tone in my life. I came into this restaurant at 2:25 today. there was literally no one in the place. maybe four in the drive-thru. I'm standing at the register the woman in the back cooking sees me there's a woman at the window and I don't see a single other employee. so I'm waiting and no one's coming so I say helloooooo. the woman at the drive-thru looks at me and says I'll be there when I can I'm busy now. oh my gosh. are these people that deal with the public not taught customer service or customer relations? I waited for a second because I was in such shock and I finally have to speak up so I say to her. you know you could have said that a lot nicer. and I left. no comment. no I'm sorry. no nothing. I really hope that management can figure out who she is and give her a little bit of training.“
