“The concept is excellent!
We were seated quickly even though we didn’t book a reservation ahead on a Friday night. Was so fun to try the different wines and enjoy the ambiance this unique experience has to offer. The only downside, we ordered aoli fries immediately upon being seated and sampled multiple wines about an hour in and the fries still had not arrived. Disappointed we had to ask for them to go, they were boxed up for us and removed from the bill. Good fries for sure but would have been even better eating them on location.“

“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. Highly recommended!“

“I hosted a baby shower for 26 guests on a Sunday afternoon in November, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Stacey made communication seamless. She confirmed details quickly, offered helpful catering suggestions, and checked in as the event date approached.

Many of my guests were visiting Glen Ellyn for the first time and absolutely fell in love with this charming wine room. The atmosphere was both relaxed and festive, creating the perfect setting for our celebration. The staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating with both set-up and service.

“Industrial-chic decor with brick walls and exposed overhead ducts. The menu had so many delicious-sounding options that we'll need several future visits to explore more. We were there for lunch. I had the short-rib sandwich with fries. The meat was tender, the ingredients tasted fresh making the sandwich deliciously flavorful. The fries were perfectly cooked. The portions were generous enough for leftovers. Would definitely return.“

“I have been here twice now, first time for drinks and apps and second time we threw a private event. This place is adorable, really cute vibes and welcoming atmosphere! Service is great we loved our party bartenders especially Jason who was on top of drinks and service all night during the party! We hosted about 40 people on a Friday night, did a buffet from their list of event menus. Food was great and I heard a lot of the guests complementing the food. The apps I had off of the regular menu were also really good! They have a great wine selection and other beer, seltzers and cocktails so there is something for everyone. Highly recommended for a night out, or private event!“

“1st visit to MK Steak and we were very impressed. We were seated right away and started with wine and cocktails ( spicy Bees Knees was awesome!). Our server, Chelsea, was knowledgeable, friendly and tentative. Atmosphere was lively but not loud. Both our entrees were cooked to perfection. My husband, who knows his steaks, was pleasantly surprised to hear the steaks are from Meats by Linz. His steak was amazing- great flavor. I had the scallops, which were also very good. The baked French Onion soup was hot and cheese was nicely browned. We were too full for dessert but saw a few being served. So wish I had saved room! We will be back!“

“We were a fan of the fabulous food already. But when my husband and daughter planned a surprise Birthday party for me, we were VERY impressed. They said whenever they asked Ricardo for something the only thing they heard was: No problem! OR… Whatever you need! And ALL of our guests complimented the food and most took home doggie bags. If you need a party room and want to work with the most accommodating staff - give Ricardo a call. If I could give a 10 star rating - I would. I promise you won’t be disappointed!“

“My husband and I stopped by while taking the kids holiday shopping. My husband had the cranberry rum mule. I had the peppermint espresso martini. The drinks were made quickly and the woman on staff was welcoming and kind. The drinks were high end restaurant quality! We will revisit Tapville again in the future!“

“The jerked chicken pasta was amazing. Had there peach Mai Tai. I wish they had better straws. I know it's an odd thing to put but literally just trying to adjust my straw, the ice broke it. I got another one, I apparently pinched too hard??? it broke again. great food, trash straws“
