“Love this place. I've been here a few times. The hot chicken sandwich, nachos, and fries are always great. This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

“Chic-fil-A serves delicious, tender chicken, freshly cooked. Their grilled chicken is super moist and has amazing flavor, making for an exceptional grilled chicken sandwich. It hits the spots every time, and they even have a gluten free bun, which is super soft and tasty. I always find myself craving their grilled chicken sandwiches, and I know I can safely eat there with my allergy. They never fail to satisfy the craving.“

“Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

The Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce was deliciously spicy! The Jr Chicken Sandwich was a great portion and filling I had the Hot Version (Habanero) and yes it was HOT as I HOPED FOR 🥵🔥(FINALLY AND FOR ONCE!). My son (13) had the Chicken wrap with Mild sauce (Cayenne) and he smacked the whole thing and said it was very good. We also ordered Fried Okra✅ Delicious and Fresh Never Frozen! The side of white rice fresh, soft and excellent grain quality ✅. The Slaw was Ok I would have appreciated a little more seasoning (perhaps) but I did like that it was the slaw threads very slimmed cut.
This is A GREAT HOUSE FOR REAL SPICY FOOD LOVERS! DONT ORDER THE HOT LEVEL OR HIGHER IF YOU DONT TRULY EAT SPICY FOODS, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT KIDDING AND THE HOT SAUCE IS HOT! (please don't ask for a refund if you asked for the wrong level not fair to new business and there are warnings signs letting you know that it's on you if u make a mistake, so start at the lowest level of u just don't know (bell pepper)....

I visited Chicago for about a week and tried plenty of restaurants in that time - from carts to michelin starred. I have to say that in my entire stay, the Art of Chicken takes the prize for my favorite meal.

They absolutely killed the pulled chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese (be sure to add their sauce to it)!!

While I was the only guest at the time, Mr. Christian behind the register made the effort to strike up convo and ensure that the hospitality was the icing on the cake.

“In the past I was not really a Jerk food type of guy, but I love this place. The food was fresh and seasoned just like I like it. The overall atmosphere was great as well. Super clean sitting area with quiet music and television while you wait for your food. I've been there twice already, and will definitely be going back. “Got the chicken tender family meal- delicious!! My only feedback is that the coleslaw should be bigger. It was like a tiny 4oz individual container. If I’m ordering a meal intended for 3-4 people there should be enough to share with all. But I love roost!“

“Probably the best location in the chain I've ever gone to, and I've probably gone to 50 of them around the country. The staff here are always well dressed, polite, smart and they h-u-s-t-l-e. Everything just runs well and reeks of well-organized trained people. As a result, there are no long crazy lines here, even on busy weekends. I can think of some specific locations in Georgia and Colorado that could learn a lesson or two from this owner/operator.“

Until last year I ordered the chicken sandwich combo and my niece ordered chicken fingers combo we realized the taste of their food change from chicken to the sauce and fries. Its too peppery not like before perfect seasoning. I told her this was not their food before. I said I'm not going back again. Then my child and I was hungry after her game it was late around 11p. So my kid wanted to eat chicken sandwich and want to go to Cane's. We ordered the chicken sandwich combo and I order the tenders combo, still same taste very peppery. I was planning to buy a take home tray of fingers but changed my mind. I hope they put their true recipe back like before. Their sauce is too much ketchup and pepper, chicken is very seasoned with pepper and the fries is too salty. This restaurant was good before now very disappointing. But atleast the ice tea is still good but it was better before. I guess it's just because they were newly open that time the recipe was good. I'd hope they kept it like just before.“

“Got the spicy fried chicken, palabok, burger steak, mashed potatoes, and guava freeze. Overall the food is good and doesn’t take too long like other locations. It wasn’t too busy when I got here. But the spicy fried chicken was less spicy than other locations that I have tried. It tastes like just fried chicken. So it wasn’t bad just not spicy at all. So don’t expect it to be spicy but it’s still good anyway if you're dripping with the sauce. Palabok was my favorite one. The atmosphere is quiet and easy to talk in. All the places are clean and the staff are very nice. Some items online were unavailable but I recommend to check with them because they have it, it's just not on the menu online. There are plenty of parking spots too and a drive-thru option.“

The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too.
