“Went to Little Louie’s on a whim and we loved it. We got a Cajun wrap and cheeseburger with fries. All of it was out to the table very fast and it was excellent tasting. We aren’t from the area but it will be a place we stop at when we come back thru for sure“

“The Prairie Café in Elmhurst is one of those rare gems hidden in plain sight. The husband-and-wife team are so amazing, we go out of our way once a year to when we are in Chicago to go there for breakfast. Mimi in the front of the house remembers what we like to the person for all five of us. The prices are on the low side and the portions generous. Two things stand out though the repartee with Mimi tops the list, but the nuanced flavors bring back memories of how my mother made it. Eating here is more than getting a great breakfast at a good price, it’s a step back, in time and attitude. It is a full-on experience. Tell Mimi you read the review from the guys that visit only once a year.“

The owners are very polite and the place is very clean. It reminds me of my grandmas cooking. I got the three meat skillet and it was delicious! I will be back! “Beautiful chill spot for burgers and drinks. Beer garden ideal for a summer night. Freshest of chips and guac. Inexpensive and friendly. Used the passport app to park a few blocks away, and my spot was free after 8PM. Very walkable neighborhood.“

“Just moved here to des plaines and cannot be more appreciative of any bar, this one by far is my favorite, the ppl, the drinks the food, and the exquisite service.. there is nothing ‘at 7 bar’ doesn’t give to their customers! Michelle is amazing and does her job as if she is two people, idk how, but she makes it happen!“
