“I usually remember to take photos of the dishes before we dig in, but everything looked so yummy this time that I completely forgot to snap a photo beforehand. That said, I hope this photo does justice to how delicious the food was.
The dolsot bibimbap arrived perfectly sizzling in its pot and the bossam was cooked very well. Their stews and kimchi jeon are equally tasty! The atmosphere is lovely—personal, clean, and perfect for good conversation. The staff are wonderfully kind, too.
As a Korean, I often miss certain dishes that are hard to recreate at home. I haven’t found many places in Chicago that nail it like this, but Tang certainly does. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant if you’re looking for yummy Korean food :)“

“love this restaurant & have been going here for over 20 years. Always great food & service except the bread. They changed the provider and bread is not as fresh, warm & tasty like it used to be.. this is the only thing which is not up to standards thank you for listening everything else is great.“

“I live in Mt. Prospect and would definitely make the drive to return here. Service was quick + friendly. It was fun to try the different brews. I'm usually a stout lover but was enjoying the sours a bunch. Food was tasty. I enjoyed the chill atmosphere. And everything was reasonably priced.“

“Small, clean location with a small bar. Looks like it's set up for karaoke too. The gentleman who took my order was very polite. He also helped in the kitchen. The menu featured Korean and American food.I wanted wings but I had chicken twice the day before so I went with the Kicken Burger with bacon instead. It was $16 for a combo, which seems a little high but the time I spend in the area the more I learn it's about average.I got to watch them cook the burger patties on the flat top and then give them a nice char grill. It was huge, almost overpowered by all of the toppings. A big slice of grilled onion, a hunk of tomato, lettuce, bacon... I had to remove some of it to enjoy the burger. The burger itself was well seasoned and tasty with a grilled bun and good sauce. Yes, the sauce was kickin' it a little bit.It came with standard crinkle fries but they were crisp and there were lots of them. More than I could finish.“

“I went here for the first time last weekend and it was great! It was busy, but we wanted a booth so we waited a couple minutes and one opened up. The interior is very cute and retro with lots of fun decor on the walls. I ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were super thick and yummy, and the eggs were some of the best over medium I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. My brother got the patty melt with fries and the free cup of soup- what a steal! The server was friendly and prompt. My only slightly negative is that it was a little warm inside for my preference, but it was a super hot day when I visited. If I’m in the area, I will be back!“

“My Husband and I agree that there needs to be more restaurants like the Omega. We both grew up in the area, and felt quite not only nostalgic but at home while dining today. From the moment you walk in the door until you leave, you are surrounded by a soft ambient glow, dark wood paneling, beautiful hanging lamps above each table. Please do not get me started on their bakery items, bread so good you'd swear grandma was in there kitchen whipping it up by the batch load, a dessert/sweets case that could fulfill anyone's sweetest sweet tooth desires. I had to stop myself before I bought one of everything! My husband Had the Gyro Dinner and was in love with the homemade taziki/cucumber sauce, the meat was perfectly cut right off the spit, and homemade pita bread to top it off, plus it came with a very generous portion of house salad, and a bowl of soup. I was getting full just watching him. lol I tried the Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich, it was amazing, it had loads of melted Swiss cheese and a beautifully grilled chicken breast topped with pineapple(my favorite) all on a fresh baked ciabata roll. it was fantastic! Our waitress was very lovely, super attentive and extremely patient with us, being our first time dining there. Overall I would recommend that you give the Omega a chance, it's like stepping back in time to a simpler, better time, when the food was made with love, and it shows. Thank you for the lovely experience, if we are ever up that way again, we will surely stop.“

“I met a kind lady and gentleman who worked there on Tuesday. The lady helped us out with the menu selection with my friends. The potions are pretty fair. We ordered some onion rings and fries. And a bacon pizza. The pizza got me by surprise. It was so crunchy and soft. The dough, sauce, and cheese portion was perfect. This place needs more recognition. The place is pretty small, I would definitely do carry out. But overall, it was a nice experience. Recommend going back.“

“Just ordered from them for my family and loved the pizza. I believe this store is Family owned and very friendly, talked to the manager for future catering orders and seemed like a sweet deal. I was pleased with the great coupon deals they had to offer. Looking to order from them again.“

“Man, I've been going to this spot for years. The service is awesome. The food always comes out hot and fresh. The prices are reasonable. I would recommend the chimichanga (steak or chicken), pork burrito, and the tamales they sell are not bad.
If you ever have a hangover or need to get a late night dinner, this would be a go-to.“

“Our Family has been going to Lucky Wok for years. Cannot say enough about how fast the team is to get you what you need and address any issues you may have with your order. So glad they are so close and so diligent with their service. Can't say I've seen this level of service since I used to go to old Orange Garden on Irving 25 years ago. Congrats on the having an amazing team.“

“Pretty good neighborhood food. I would definitely recommend Morrison Roadhouse for watching sports as they have plenty of TVs. They had great music playing that made you sway and sing along and not even know you were doing it. The staff were friendly, courteous, attentive and efficient. We didn't have to stalk our waitress for drink refills which is always a bonus. I will definitely be back.“

“The lady behind the counter was ready to take my order as soon as I walked up, she was very pleasant. I ordered #1 teriyaki with white rice and veggies + extra protein. It came out to 13.33$, more than fair price for the portion I recieved. Cook got to working it right away and it came out fresh. I could barely close the plate with how much chicken was on it. Everything was hot and great tasting just how I remember Sarku to be. Shame this is one of the last few locations available. I’ve been to this location once or twice before but definitely will keep it in mind more often.“

“We decided to give Haewadall another shot and it has turned a new leaf. The jokbal was soft and tender and freshly made; good quality. The bossam was also soft and naturally sweet; albeit not as naturally sweet nor as tender as the first year it opened (I remember wanting to eat the bossam as is without sauces). It did have a slight pig smell but not repulsive at all.
I would definitely go back and order both dishes again.
It seems like it’s starting to build back up the older Korean clientele (which are the best judges/most critical). The side dishes were pretty good.
Service was also good.“

“I've only gotten take out from here since we live in Uptown but this has definitely been my fave spot for authentic Korean food in Chicago. I'm obsessed with bossam and this has been the only spot I've found with yummy, tender, thinly sliced bossam. All the stews we've tried taste great and love that their kimchi is always nicely fermented.“
