“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. Ten minutes!“

“OH! Are you in for a TREAT when you dine here. The food is sensational. We have traveled all of the world and lived all over the United States. The cuisine here is unique and out of this world. The recipes are unique to this restaurant. We have eaten at other Ethiopian restaurants. They do not even register next to this one. The Proprietor is SOOOOO nice. And, ask him what brought him to the United States. It's an emotionally moving story. If you haven't had Ethiopian cuisine before, it is NOT scary. There are hardy vegetarian and meatatarian dishes. So, there's something for everyone. And, the dishes that are spicy are mild. So, don't worry about your sensitive belly. The meal is a SHARED experience. So, make sure you bring friends. The vegan pescado taco is now my favorite menu item (right after the mezcal tamarind) The vegan and vegetarian options are amazing. So often those options are an after thought on a menu, but here, those dishes are their own unique creations, making them very special options. and I mean it. I’ve tried more than my fair share of seafood boils in the Chicagoland area. I must say, there is always something that makes or breaks the meal. Whether it’s the vibe. The freshness and quality of the seafood. Or the biggest factor for me, the price.

Oh my Crab definitely blew all of my expectations out of the water. The seafood boil was fresh and flavorful. The hush puppies came with a very intriguing sauce, one that makes you want to come back the next day for more. Each of the servers were very nice, treat my friend and I with kindness.

Overall I would rate this a 10/10 seafood boils spot ! Definitely worth it if you’re looking to satisfy your boil cravings without breaking the bank!!“

We got the Tahini Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Kefta Burger, and the Stuffed Falafel; not a dud in the bunch. The toppings and condiments that some on the burger and sandwich made basic diner food such a delight without feeling over the top. The real stand out was the stuffed falafel. I never thought of having a filling in a falafel, and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was such a delicious complexity to a classic Middle Eastern dish. “So I would overall give this a five stars because firstly walking in the attendance are very nice and this was my first time here and they gave us complementary donuts so I give the food a four out of five only because the burger was messy and like it was really good though. For the service that gets a solid five, our waiter was nice and he was like taking orders and doing his job quickly and was very thoughtful for the atmosphere. I would give it a five because you could bring your dog outside. You can eat inside. You can eat really anywhere you want you don’t also have to come in with a reservation. And for the cleanliness of the floors, I’d give that a 4.6 just because I saw a little fry on the floor and the bathrooms get a 4.7 because the sink area is a little messy overall I’d give this a 9.3 out of 10.
