Decided to try some new food to change things up, Bab Alsalam was the place and I felt no need to try another due to the warm and welcoming service, and on point food. Eventually tried a couple other shawarma places and they were solid, but this place is the place to go“

“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.“

We tried the Smash Burger, Zinger Burger, and Mixed Platter, and every bite was on fire! 🔥 The burgers were flavorful, juicy, and packed with taste, and the mixed platter was just as amazing. The service made the whole experience even better.

“One of the best restaurants in Chicago! The lunch special is my favorite - the most flavorful kabobs and rice (I upgrade to the Kabuli style rice). I also love the Kabuli Palaw (lamb shank). Service is always efficient and friendly. Afghan Kabob is worth a visit even if you're not in the area!“

We’re visiting from Dallas, and Rahman bhai was so kind and made sure we tried one of the best items on the menu. “We were searching for a restaurant nearby and came across Wah! Taj. The reviews were really good so, decided to try it and I am glad we did. The kiddo got the combo bowl with daal n rice and chicken 65 and we got chicken biryani and the fish fry …. Everything was just so fresh and delicious and just felt like a good homemade meal. We also got Gajjar ka halwa for dessert and were just impressed with the quality of the food and the warmth and friendliness of the host. We will definitely be back for more 😀“

“We stopped here on a whim while we waited for a tire repair at the local Firestone. Super friendly staff. Lots of customers coming in to place orders. My husband daughter ordered fries chicken and chicken tenders with fries and they did warn us it would take twenty mins because they cook them fresh to order. They were the crispiest, tastiest, flakiest pieces of chicken. The fries were awesome too. I had a single chicken taco and it was fresh, flavorful and delicious! We also ordered some bubble tea blended drinks that were good. I'm glad we stopped here.“

“I got the Hot Chick at a Medium spice level and it was so good, crispy and juicy. Had the longest cheese pull I've ever experienced with a mozzarella stick. My boyfriend got the Smash Cheeseburger and that was also super super tasty, he got it with the smash peppers. The staff was so friendly and helpful as well. Definitely coming back soon.“

“Took my date here from dinner as she recommended, and was pleased as punch that it was as good as she advertised! Service was lightning quick, atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming, and the food was divine. It was my first time having Indian cuisine, and it did not disappoint one bit! I had the Butter Chicken and my date had the Cheese Dosa. Both came out hot and appetizing, and the Butter Chicken tasted amazing. 10/10, would absolutely eat here almost every day if I could.

Also tried the Masala Fries, which were crispy and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe. If you're in the area and craving a flavorful halal meal, this spot is worth checking out. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu.“

“I usually LOVE this place. But the food has been very inconsistent lately at the Troy, MI location. I get the same thing every week. And every week it’s a little different. I get the mixed platter. Last week there was no sauce, and I always order extra on the side, but the little cup was only half full. So, no sauce on the platter, and barely any on the side. This week there were more onions than gyro/chicken. Barely any meat; very meager portion. And still, side of sauce only half full. Super disappointed. I’ll give them one more chance, then I’ll have to stop giving them my business.“

“My twin and I stopped by this burger joint nearby and ordered burgers with fries. All I can say is that everything was made really well. The burgers were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the fries were crispy without being overly oily like they are at some other places. “Okay, my friend and I were in Elmwood Park and she was craving a burger. Quick Google search revealed Burger Moovement. We had no idea what to expect. Wow! We were very pleasantly surprised by how good the burger and the chicken sandwich were. DELICIOUS!!! The restaurant is clean. The staff are friendly and professional. Everything is fresh. It was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. And they easily accommodated my request to customize my sandwich. We will be going back. Oh, and the thin fries were fabulous. “Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it. I can't eat that and I don't want that on my $11 burger! and that was the only piece of tomato. it made me feel like they don't like me! Then the fried okra was overcooked tough and horrible.“

They both had great customer service with me and my family and made sure everything was done right. The food was fresh and delicious and they made the whole experience even better!!
