“my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

“This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. I am excited to hang out this fall on the patio by the fireplace with good drink in My hand.“

“I'm from Iowa, took a little weekend trip to Chicago. A friend told us we HAD to try Lula's. SO thankful we did. I will be traveling back to Chicago just to take my mom here. Outstanding service from every single employee, incredible food, and just overall 10/10. Absolutely recommend.“

“A young lady named Samantha (POSC) was very welcoming, courteous, and patient. She had a smile at all times.I have a stomach condition and she offered alternatives which helped me feel understood. “I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“I absolutely love Lawrence Fish Market! I’ve ordered from them many times and they never disappoint. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, with amazing flavor and great quality. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable—especially considering how much food you get. It’s perfect for takeout, and everything is always beautifully packed and ready to enjoy. I highly recommend this place to any sushi lover. Definitely one of my favorite spots!“

“Deserves more than 5 stars! WONDERFUL experience each time I come here. Everything made from scratch. Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! You can tell they have a passion for the business. HIGHLY recommend! ENJOY!“
“Maplewood is a great local neighborhood brewery. It is cozy on the inside, and bright on the outside patio. They have flights of beers, ipas, sloggers and stouts. They've expanded both in space and their menu now includes food. I really enjoyed all four of my mini beers, and the fries were done really well. I love this place. Today I had a flight of four beers, and order of fries, tax and a 20% tip everything came out to 28th from just me“

“Came in with a friend who had never had boba before. The owner(?) recommended her a flavor and offered to make her a different kind if she didn't like it. She had brown sugar, I had taro, and my wife had a caramel latte boba. All were delicious! We also got the mini pancake bites which were fantastic. The owner(?) was super nice and gave us free water as well. If it wasn't a 40 minute drive for us we would be here all the time!“

“The pho broth, meat, and toppings were very generous and delicious. One issue was I ordered the chicken pho but found chunks of beef intestine and quail egg (?) in my soup, and my friend did too. Very odd. Service was very quick though and the restaurant was quite busy. I had bun bo hue at an earlier date and that was also very authentic and tasty.!“

“I've been coming to Bang Bang Pies for about 12 years! It's one of my favorite places to talk about and visit when I come through Chicago. It has evolved over time, but thankfully has maintained its delicious staples: homemade biscuits, butter, jam, and cheese grits.
It’s a great stop, especially for bringing out-of-town visitors. The menu is simple, the prices are reasonable, and there's always friendly service. There’s seating inside and a nice courtyard with seating outside.
And their pies are the best I've had in the city. Order early for those!“

“We were able able to make a reservation via Google, and when we arrived they were expecting us. The staff is really nice, took our drink order right away (coffee and waters) and then our food order soon after. I loved my endless cup of coffee and banana crepes. One person ordered chiquillas, which looked great. We added meat sides later, which came right away. The bill was totally reasonable (no separate checks tho, FYI), and everyone left full and happy.“
“Solemn Oath is a great little brewery. Cozy and full of great types of beer. I met some lovely dogs indoor..... Yep they allow dogs inside. I had a really awesome natural aged stout the was creamy with a chocolate aftertaste. There is a pool table inside. Would definitely come back!!“

“Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

“After checking into a local hotel quite late (9:30 pm) after missing a connecting flight at O’Hare, we were looking for a place for dinner that we could walk to, was open and wasn’t fast food. Funbeerking was perfect and…fun! They are open until 1 am on weeknights. It’s apparently a traditional Korean gastro pub, maybe even a chain from Korea. The food was terrific - we had the K-spiced boneless chicken and the bulgogi pizza on pastry crust and both were super yummy. The service was also attentive and nice and they had K-pop videos playing on a big screen throughout. Very very fun and highly recommended!“

Being a member of Chicago Italian Beefs fB page , I just HAD to try theirs . “Tried the Tava Fish Fry, Chicken 65 Biryani, and Mysore Masala Dosa. All items were quite good overall. A couple of minor points: the biryani would benefit from a saalna or gravy accompaniment, and the masala coating on the tava fish fry felt slightly thick or caked on. Otherwise, enjoyable meal.“

At Steel Fitness Cafe, those worries completely dissolved! Want a great tasting protein shake that is ENJOYABLE??? Well then you are going in luck with the plethora of options here! Caramel Waffle Cone and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are two of my favorites! Need a meal that will fill you up AND make you feel good? They have those too! I helped myself to the Steak and Eggs! When Chef travels, he brings some of that cuisine back home for new meals! Have a sweet tooth but hate the fact that your favorite sweet treats contribute to being unhealthy? Well, their protein donuts WILL hit the spot. You won’t believe the macros until you try it! Here is the elevator pitch……JUST GO AND TRY THEIR STUFF! You WILL NOT regret it!“
