I feel the BA program is a sleeper in the Chicagoland beer scene. BA Kamoho is currently in my top list of best BA pastry stouts of the year. I'm a sucker for that cinna/coco combo and every release of that beer has been absolutely delicious.“

“I almost didn’t post this review because I wanted to keep this place to myself but here we are. Not only is the beer delicious, straight up dive into flavor-town, but the food is fantastic. A fun combination of different cuisines done so so well. I got the Tikka Chicken Tacos and the Sandía Especial to drink. The beer was fruity,light and refreshing! The staff were friendly and helpful, shoutout to Jen!

“Had an excellent experience here yesterday for a mid afternoon lunch. The bartender was very attentive even though he was the only one there. He answered all our questions and made a very pleasant experience for us.“

“I was a little nervous pulling in as an out of towner to the back of an industrial park, but was pleasantly surprised!! The beer was so good, atmosphere wonderful and staff just as great! This is very dog friendly and has a SUPER cute outdoor space. You can bring food in. I also loved all of the wonderful people we met while there. So nice and thoughtful! We had a wonderful experience!!“

“We enjoyed our experience at Alter Brewing! Atmosphere was fun, food was good, beer was even better and service was outstanding. We were in town for one night and met friends there. Perfect place to catch up with friends. Parking was a tad bit of a challenge but worth the effort.“

My son has special needs and they were so great with him. At the end of the dinner when they could see I was struggling a bit with my son, one server came to me and said, “don’t worry mama, we got you.” So kind.
