“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. Ten minutes!“

“All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.

I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.

Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back“

“My family and I tried Nori Sushi for the first time last night. We did take out. This place will be our new go-to! Everything was ready, right on time. When I got the food home, everything was hot and fresh. The Chicken Katsu, Poke Bowl and Garlic Rice with shrimp were amazing! the side salads were crisp and fresh and the spicy Miso was, surprise, SPICY!!!
Nori Sushi has been in the community for a long time. Not sure why it took us so long as to try it. That said, we will be back!“

The food is also amazing bc it stays true to Korean food fused with fresh veges and both Korean and non Korean based like glass sweet potato noodles or salad or purple or white rice. The flavors are authentic to Korean food items also. Online you can ask for extra of one the free included sides which is nice. The sides are healthful and tastes great. The staff (diverse staff) and manager (who looked Korean to me which is nice to keep authenticity) are always cleaning...authentic to the Korean way of non stop standards of cleanliness. The bathroom is immaculate and non odorous. I got a glass noodle (which is made of sweet potato) base bowl with tofu (cooked perfectly with just right saltiness, broccoli, beans, steamed and fried potatoes, red cabbage, corn, kale, and KIMCHI of course! What Korean dish comes without kimchi and it's perfect inside bc I grew up adding kimchi to everything like ramen or pizza or soup. Also FREE miso soup w tofu and scallion. You can serve it yourself anytime. Drinks are creative and yummy. Thank you Mr Shin (owner of this chain) for creating such a great deal with yummy Korean foods that help me eat for balance and wellness. Thank you to the manager of this Des Plains location for doing an excellent job! If I could, I would eat here everyday. You won't be disappointed. Free and ample parking in the mall and it's right next to Panera. “Recently had dinner at Paragon on Main street in Evanston. Our last time eating there was probably 15-20 years ago! It was a little later on a summer Saturday evening so the restaurant was a little quieter. We were seated in a comfortable booth and ordered a couple of dishes. Papaya salad (Som Tum) which was outstanding piled high and super fresh. Asked for it medium but it came not very spicy. Offered additional thai chiles which we sprinkled on and that did the trick. Perfect spice level and flavor.
Ordered MooShu pork which came already pancake wrapped (3) which seemed a bit odd....but was flavorful and very generous w/the protein. Also got a curry dish w/thai eggplant, peanuts & potato and our protein was tofu which was very tasty. Generous portion w/rice. Service was efficient and very good value. Would definitely go back to try other dishes.“

The menu with varieties and many Asian popularities dishes. Think this may be comparable from south Canal street China Town and the best one in the north shore neighborhood.

I am a FAN of chinese food, but no where around suburbs and chicago will you find such FRESH food! Veggies are perfectly done, meat is perfectly cooked! Sauce is amazing taste! I had their Happy Family Dish , Chicken fried rice and Khan Pau Chicken .

“I don't usually leave reviews. But I figure since I've gone here at least a dozen times over the past year over any other chinese spots in the area, I think it deserves one.
The price is just right, the food is consistently delicious(so far have never been disappointed once), hot and ready when they say it will be.
They are polite and friendly, and I'm glad I live so close. It's definitely way better than all the other traditional chinese take-out options in the area.
If you like Orange chicken, definitely make sure to get it. It's great.
I wish they sold chinese B.B.Q Pork, or had BBQ pork fried rice.“
