“Went there about 1030 mainly to get chicken pot pie soup . Ordered 2 wreck sandwiches and 2 Bowls of soup. They fixed my sandwiches then told me the soup won't be ready for another half hr. You should of told me when I ordered . Drove 10 minutes down the street to Elmhurst to get my soup. When I could have ordered all at one location.“

“Last time I had sushi was well over 15 years ago. Times change, appetite, and eating habits change so here I am. My wife enjoys sushi and has been here a few times and enjoys their rolls. I do enjoy food in the teriyaki family and I get this fix at a few other restaurants in town. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and it was strange being back in the former Peapod restaurant location. We ordered the crab ragoon, gyoza, chicken teriyaki roll, scorpion roll, Godzilla roll, and the beef teriyaki entree. Both appetizers were good but pretty standard. I tried a few rolls and it's still not for me. I believe the seaweed wrap is what I don't like. The filling is good though. My wife enjoyed every bite of it. The beef teriyaki comes with salad, rice, and miso soup. I don't particularly like miso soup but this one was slightly different in a good way. I enjoyed the simple salad as well. Now when I ordered the beef I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked which is not unusual. When I received the beef it was too blue in my opinion. I'll eat beef anyway outside of raw but typically I like my beef medium. The sauce and vegetables were good and I still ate the beef. For drinks I stuck with water but my wife had a mango smoothie that was quite tasty. The employees were attentive and definitely hustling so I appreciate that. I would go back and get the chicken teriyaki (hopefully it's not pink) and let my wife enjoy the sushi rolls. 4 stars because everyone I know that has come here for the sushi raves about it.“

“We hosted my son’s communion party at Porretta’s last May and we were very satisfied with everything, so we decided to cater for my mother’s birthday party. We ordered a few days prior and John was able to accommodate us in spite of the short notice.We had it delivered on time and with care. All the food was delicious but our guests especially raved about the Rigatoni Vodka and the mini meatballs.I am already planning our next celebration and will be using Porrettas catering once again!“

He had the ham and cheese sandwich and I had the grilled Brie with fig jam and apple on toasted multigrain bread. It was delicious! Daniel is delightful and was extremely helpful explaining his menu. The cost of a sandwich was $10-17. I definitely will be going back!“

“A group of 4 went there for pre-play dinner and arrived on time. We were seated promptly and the wait staff arrived at the same time. Never felt rushed, but there a very large party of 12 who were really pretty loud. Food was very good, trout was done perfectly. Wait staff made sure we would get to our play on time!!!“

I ordered an Italian beef and then their garlic knots. The Italian beef was okay, I got the gravy on the side so it didn't get soggy, but I feel like it would've been better on it so that could be on me. I wish it had a little bit more flavor but it was fine. Their garlic knots were interesting, not your typical garlic knot. They were tossed in garlic sauce and cheese, and they weren't bad either. Not the best I've ever had though! Next time I will have to try their pizza.“
