“I really enjoy this historic tavern. The service is excellent and the patrons are very nice people too. The patio is nice to sit on outside or the yard that has plenty of seating for a lot of people. Also the have horseshoe pits free of charge or if the weather isn't cooperating there is shuffleboard inside Also free of charge.“

“..but on my visit, the regulars were pretty nice, and it was a nice throwback place. It's just a house basically with a bar in it. Kind of like the Homestead Barr, but a little seedier. I am glad it is there and I am glad I went (a few times actually). Places like this don't exist much anymore.“

“Great Food and Great Staff! What a find! The atmosphere is lively and friendly. The hostess happily greeted us and took us to a booth. The menu is large. I ordered a delicious martini and our server, Nick was friendly and attentive. We had a house sale that was delicious and the blue cheese dressing was the best ever! We both ordered the Tuscan penne pasta and Wow!! From my first bite, my tastebuds were jumping with joy! We will be back again and again! My new favorite restaurant!“

“My absolute favorite neighborhood bar! The owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met! And she is the best cook... They usually have food on Mondays (for Bingo), as well as on Tuesdays and Fridays (for Poker). The bartenders are awesome as well!“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. “Had dinner with friends on Fri, 6-17. None of us had been there for years...we weren't impressed. One of us ordered the T bone which was not a complete steak. Part of the filet had been cut away. The baked potatoes weren't cooked through. The cocktail sauce for my scallops had no horseradish in it and tasted like fancy catsup. The tartar sauce had no flavor. Although our drinks were good the food wasn't worth the price. Pretty sure we won't be back. Very disappointed.“
