“Everything on the menu is fabulous I recently ordered grecian steak. The quality of the meat dont compare to even the fancy overpriced meat at these big name steak house. It was tender juicy seasoned just enough to enjoy the real flavor of the meat. It was enough for 4 meals. And the price is unbelievably right“

“One of the best local breakfast or lunch spots in town! I've been by a few times with friends over the last few months and have tried the avocado toast and a few other items. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and even offered us complimentary soups while we were waiting for our meals, which arrived quickly and tasted absolutely amazing. For the quality of the food, the prices are insanely cheap. The monster cookie is to DIE for. “Won't be back and certainly Do not recommend. whatever you do, don't order a meal that includes stuffing. stuffing was the consistency of oatmeal. mushy and had something that resembled mini grapes?? I honestly don't know what that ingredient was. never in my life have I seen that. waitress didn't know what it was either. Waitress asked if I wanted something else instead of the stuffing, but came back and said they wouldn't exchange the side dish. Within 45 min, we both have upset stomachs and bathroom issues.“

“I grew up in Tinley Park and the Olympic Star has been a staple in our city forever. I'm now out of state but every time we're back in the Chicago area we go to the Star. Everything is phenomenal in this restaurant and the Chicken Soup is to die for, it's so good we went home with 3 qts of it to take it home out-of-state“

“Found this great spot to catch a bite to eat. Great atmosphere and service. Had a few different items of the menu and was not disappointed. Yogurt with fruit, tortas and fruit in a cup on point. The best part is the low prices. Great place to stop by and get a snack. Will be coming back for sure“

“As a restaurateur and foodie, I was in Chicago for business and searched the best halal breakfast options. This place came up with a few other options. I chose it based on the wide variety of menu items.

I drove 40mins from my hotel to try the food and it did not disappoint. Every single item I ordered was amazing. Starting with the iced caramel Frost Coffee, I drink coffee every day and this was one of the best I’ve had in a while. For meal, I got the Steak Tender Tips and eggs, the steak was cooked to perfection. I got a side of bacon and sausage, perfectly cooked. I also got the famous French toast squares, the cheesecake flavor. Absolutely delicious.

And to top it all off, my server Kelly was professional, courteous, a sweetheart that was in a good mood dealing with every table with a pep in her step. She’s amazing, Krave you’ve got a good one.

With such a raving review you would think they paid me to leave it which is not the case, I genuinely enjoy good food and this was an excellent meal. It will without a doubt be a stop during any trip I make to Chicago.“

“We've been to Joey's many times in New Lenox and the other location in Orland but this was our first time ordering from the location on 159th. The food was hot and fresh, my husband and I both got the chicago dogs with fries. We also ordered a raspberry Italian ice. Because this was a take out order I was afraid the italia ice would have melted ny the time we got there but they kept it in the freezer until we arrived to pick it up. Restaurant was clean and it was decorated really cute and fun. The staff was also very friendly. We'll definitely be coming back here.“

“Adela was our server and she has been many times. She is very attentive and always makes our experience great. The food here is always delicious. We have had a variety of menu items and are never disappointed. The orange juice is always fresh squeezed which is our favorite. Some favorites I’d recommend are the strawberry French toast, Irish skillet, pancakes of any kind, and the ham and Swiss crepes!“
