“Being from the suburbs traveling downtown can be an experience. This particular experience made our day. Moving our daughter into DePaul we came upon the owner of Red Light chicken who gave us a few pointers in parking near his establishment, after taking the time to help us find a spot he happily welcomed us with a free chicken sandwich which I’m happy to report was delicious. It was nice meeting you tonight and I’ll be certainly stopping by again - Fries are a game changer to!!!“

“I had an outstanding experience with Day’s Hot Chicken in Chicago. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top notch. We ordered through DoorDash, and when we called the restaurant, they were incredibly generous. Since we loved the food so much, they went above and beyond by adding extra items like mac and cheese and additional fries. It was a thoughtful gesture that truly enhanced the experience. “Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

The Byrd Bombs were huge and filled to the brim with crispy chicken, fries, a piece of toast, and pickles and drenched in cheesy sauce. Eating this will leave you full for days, but it’s definitely worth it if you’re feeling especially ravenous!“

“Really nice place for real good food. My family and I stopped in after a trip into town for an escape room. We had the foghorn chicken sandwich, burger, mashed pot and gravy, tenders, nuggets, and fries. The burger and mashed we're recommended by staff and were terrific.
Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. Recommend if you're looking for awesome food at a great price too.“

I would recommend dining in if possible- heavily seasoned and marinated chicken hot off the grill with a beautiful char- it simply cannot be beat!“

“First time at Nandos and was amazed by the service, first walked in and was treated like family. They took their time letting me know how the menu and chicken was. I have ordered the chicken ceaser salad which lived up to the chefs word- delicious, not too spicy but enough for the flavor give a hint. Will definitely be coming again for the food. Now the atmosphere was excellent- the color theme, the lights and seating are all unique which is hard to find in Chicago. They are all about the culture they serve. 10/10“

“Stopped by Hot N' Spicy Chicago on Devon Ave for a late-night bite and was impressed. Grabbed the Chicken Chutney Roll—tender chicken wrapped in a soft paratha with a tangy chutney kick. Also tried the Masala Fries, which were crispy and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe. If you're in the area and craving a flavorful halal meal, this spot is worth checking out. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu.“

“This restaurant is in a stripe mall near the laundry. I wanted to get some food while I waited for my clothes to finish in the washer, but I took it to go. I walked into the establishment, met with a clean restaurant and a extremely nice cashier. I told the cashier that I wanted authentic food as some of the menu items appeared to be American food. He told his time to educate me about the menu and make recommends. I settled on the combination bowl with gryo, chicken, rice, and vegetables. The meal included pita bread. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare and during this time. I enjoyed talking with the cashier to learn about other meal options to choose from on my next visit. He gave me a card with a QR code to receive 10% off within the next seven days for either pick up or delivery. I thought the entire experience was super dope! I feel so comfortable and welcomed. Next, I opened my bag to find a well portion size meal and met with the most delicious 😋 smells from the chicken and gyro meat. I dig into my plate and met with flavor! The food was not overpowering! The rice was good, a little dry, but if you add the white sauce makes it even better. The pita bread was butter and came apart so nicely! I was given a chocolate 🍫 chip cookie to go. I appreciate the personal touch. The whole meal was so good. I would gladly come back to them. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food.“
