“Stopped in here on a hot summer day during Bluegrass Festival 2024 before the crowds hit. The vibe of this place when it's not crowded is awesome. I felt transported back to the 1970's just walking through to get a drink and catch the bluegrass band on the patio. The bartender was busy making many drinks for the patio crowd but was attentive, the drink was great and inexpensive, and the atmosphere is something that you just aren't going to find in a strip mall or a cookie-cutter brand name bar. If you are ever in Frankfort, pay a visit here.“

“I really enjoy this historic tavern. The service is excellent and the patrons are very nice people too. The patio is nice to sit on outside or the yard that has plenty of seating for a lot of people. Also the have horseshoe pits free of charge or if the weather isn't cooperating there is shuffleboard inside Also free of charge.“

The 0wner, Tommy is usually hanging around and is friendly and accommodating. Sometimes due to allergies I have to alter the menu a little and he doesn’t hesitate to switch things around a little… Do yourself a favor… stop in for a great meal and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.“

“Small neighborhood bar with a pool table and reasonably priced drinks. They don't sell food but carry assorted chips for purchase. Everyone was very welcoming of us as newcomers and seemed to know once another. I've already gone back twice.“
