“Driven by many times but tonight my fuance and I turned around to give it a shot. From the moment we walked we were blown away by the cleanliness and hospitality of the staff. We both ordered the double slaw burger with fries. Long story short it wss beyond delicious.
Ive always been a fan of smash burgers but this was by far the best I’ve ever had. Their slaw sauce was amazing, the fries were perfectly done with their own in home seasoning. To top ot off we were given a “samole” of their churros fries as well. I’d go their just for those I see many trips to our new favorite burger joint now.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“We went with our Burger Club to Lucky Burgers (a.k.a. Jelly Cafe after dark or 4pm, whichever comes first).

Jelly Cafe is a breakfast and lunch place open 7am until 2pm. Then they switch over to Lucky Burgers which is open from 4pm until no one is there and they want to go home. Though technically I think they’re open until 8 or 9pm.

There are a handful of items on the Lucky Burgers’ menu: about 5 variations of their classic burger, a chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and waffle fries.

When we went, the place was empty and never got busy. Which opened the door for one of the owners, Scott, to regale us with tales of days gone by from his childhood in Evanston and the famous people he knew, grew up with, and worked with. It was nice hearing these stories and it was nice to give Scott something and somebodies to talk to as well.

The place has a large parking lot and is nice and clean on the inside. There is a tiny area with slot machines and a small bar/counter at the entrance.

The burgers are all smashburgers. They come as singles or double patties. Go for the double as there’s not a whole lot of meat once they’re smashed. The differences are the toppings. Scott recommends their housemade dijonaise sauce which is good, but ask for it on the side. The cook slathers it on the burger and that’s all you can taste. Once I scooped (you read that correctly) the sauce off my burger, it was a pretty good burger. The meat is seasoned well and cooked nicely and the bun holds up (despite dripping in dijonaise).

We all shared the chicken tenders as an appetizer. Five nice sized tenders come in the meal and you can choose your dipping sauce. Scott recommended their honey mustard which was very good and the ranch wasn’t bad either.

He is also johnny-on-the-spot to refill fill your drinks. I seriously thought that I would float away.

The best part is the price. All said and done for a burger, waffle fries, and a soda, with tax and tip is like $15-$18 bucks.

It’s a nice place that I need to go back to and visit for the Jelly Cafe side. AND return for their burgers, tenders, and more of Scott’s stories.“

They were so helpful, let us set up early, refrigerated a cake for us, had appetizers out super quick! There was probably about 40 of us and the bartenders/waiters were awesome… it was a huge success! Definitely think of Alley 64 for a group/party options!“

“I just had my first hamburger there, and it was so good! It was the 1/4 pound burger. It was juicy and fresh. I usually get the caesar chicken salad or a plain hot dog. The fries are good too. The staff is always friendly. I usually use the drive thru and it's very quick. The inside is clean and every employee goes out of their way to be helpful. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous.“

“I used Chiggys catering last weekend for a birthday party and was very pleased with their service. Georgia was really wonderful to work with. Very detailed, thorough and good with follow up. “Food was hot and fresh. The employees there are always helpful and friendly. They had some fun Halloween decorations up, and the restaurant and the restrooms were clean.

Parking: Plenty of parking including handicap parking.

Kid-friendliness: Anytime we have gone to this Wendy's the employees have been kind, friendly, helpful, and always doing their jobs.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking. The restrooms are wheelchair accessible and there are wheelchair accessible tables.“

“I gotta give credit when credit is due. Recently I have started to come to BK after several people have said their iced coffee is really good. Love the vanilla iced coffee. Tastes like actual French Vanilla. The croissant’wiches can’t go wrong with the price, and a large hash brown order is way more than I expected. Very filling for the price & barely over 10.00 plus the person at the drive thru is always nice. Also, the chicken nuggets are delicious as well, and fair pricing. Has been my go to for a while.“

“Only reason I am giving it 4 stars, I am surprised, I know I didn’t want cheese sauce on my bacon breakfast burrito, , but even without, the burrito is very dry. They give you two hot sauce packets of Cholula. If you have an intolerance to anything spicy, I don’t know your tolerance level but my lips are still tingling 5-10 minutes after. It definitely can get your nose running a bit if you have too much. I had the packet on it, not a lot, but even without the amount of liquid, it still was very dry. The burrito stayed intact. No crumbling or breaking apart. Small cold brew & seasoned potatoes very good. Also the honey butter biscuit is delicious. Came to around 12.00. A meal to fill you up for a while. Service inside the girl was very nice as well.“

“This experience started out badly. I ordered a McRib which was cold as a mackrel, had minimum BBQ sauce, and was so misaligned it could not be eaten. I drove around to speak to the manager who very promptly brought out a hot fresh one. I wanted her to see what she was serving to people. She seemed grateful and said she spoke to the cook. My review reflects the correction.“
