For getting ice cream it's pretty okay when it's not closed. It's among a few of downtown Palatine shops a close walk from the Metra station. Christie's is open early for coffee and you can get ice cream if you feel like it. Of course it's better when it's later. The hours are kind of funny it seems because many times they're closed when they're supposed to be open. Basic looking place from the outside and not that interesting on the inside. It actually doesn't have many flavors...read full review
