“Great food! Great atmosphere!“

“I've been going to Tuesday Bar bingo for about 2 years. I don't win often but enjoy a good group get together. Recently I won three games in one day. On Memorial Day, my husband and I stopped for lunch wanting to use the certificates. On the certificate, it states for use "only" on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. No mention of holiday exclusion. Before ordering, we asked about using all of our certificates and found that it was one per table. Ok. We ordered. The manager said we couldn't use it on a holiday. We debated that and she allowed us to use one. I gave my other two to two couples at other tables. Come to find out from the manager that her decision to allow "us consideration for use of the certificate on a holiday" only applied to us. I had to go back and take back those I gifted. How embarrassing. To me, Rooftop Tap makes it very hard to use their prize certificates. I've spent on average $30 + tip every time I go to bingo and this is how they treat customers. I suggest that you "clearly state" on the certificate your terms. They lost my business and possibly that of a few friends that normally meet for that Tuesday bingo.“

“Went here for the first time. I had the 1/2 lb Classic burger, medium rare, with Pepper Jack cheese and fries. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos. The burger was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Fries were wonderful. I normally can't eat a whole 1/2 lb burger. I couldn't stop eating this one. My friends Al Pastor tacos, on a flour tortilla, had a generous amount of meat, more than anywhere else we have been and it tastes fantastic, with just a hint of heat. Our Margaritas, made with Metzcal were delicious.“

“Great local spot for wings, pizza, beers, music & vibes. Staff it great. It does get pretty busy or packed some times so having patience is key if you are going in hangry. Overall a great selection if you want the neighborhood bar outing.“

“Dropped into this spot a couple times on my way home from shopping. You can tell it's a local type of dive where the folks all pretty much know each other. Though I was an outsider, I was properly greeted by a few and the customer service was good and friendly. It's the other few that look at you like you don't belong, especially if you're on a slot game they want.“

“The whole experience was great. Staff was very attentive and very happy to serve. A+ food quality and quantity. Worth every penny. Staff kept busy and very professional. Our party sat at the bar. Everything was very clean. Julia our bartender was just awesome. She was just a blur behind the bar. She kept everything neat and organized all the while creating a great dining experience. “The food was great. Love the onion rings. The host on the other hand, told my sister that we had to move to a different seating because the seat we was sitting at originally is for more than two people. So we moved to a different seat. Two caucasian lady come in and sit at the same table we moved from and nothing at all was said to them. We later was told that we can seat ourselves, which makes this situation even more confusing. Why did the male host ask us to switch our seat???? Food: 5/5 | Service: 2/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5“

“We dined at Hillgrove Tap for a Moms day out event today. They were fantastic handling our group. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic. And they were so organized. “Listen, I'm not gonna preach and say this place is the best place ever or say this place beats everywhere else. But I can guarantee you that you will have an amazing experience. The bartenders are amazing and caring, the regulars are entertaining and welcoming, and the beer is ice cold and refreshing. Everytime I'm here, I always have an exciting and inclusive conversations with everyone. I'm a fan of hole in the wall kind of places. Many local people go there we had pizza from a local place. No problem just watch how much you spend buying women drinks .Easy spot to pickup women

“Went on Tuesday for unlimited tacos and special drinks, and the tacos were so good, favorites were the steak and pork, and my kids liked the chicken. The special drinks my husband and I got were the watermelon margarita, cantarito, and blueberry & blackberry mojitos were so delicious. Service was great! Tacos came out pretty fast and drinks at a reasonable pace. Definitely coming back again!“

“Daverns is a very popular bar. The staff is nice and attentive. Because of its popularity sometimes you have to wait a little bit but what can you expect on weekend when you’ve got a big crowd, live music & people enjoying themselves with a feel good atmosphere? The outdoor area is great and live music performs there during the summer months and inside during the colder months. There are bag games to play and if you want to host an adult birthday party or an event in a bar type of atmosphere this is the place to have it. They have a special event area in the back and if you like to play slots, there are some slots located in the front. While I don’t drink we have friends that do and we have been patronizing Daverns for years as our friends and my husbands bands play here . We haven’t really ordered food from here yet so I can’t review the food. I’m just reviewing the service and the atmosphere. They have specials from time to time and just really seem to me that they are all about the customers and running a great bar business. We have been treated so well every time we come which is why we keep coming back. So if you’re in the Justice area and want to stop at a great little bar/lounge give Daverns a try. .“
