“Listen, this place is a gem! Seriously more people should eat here. The food is made fresh and you can tell its from scratch(family recipes). The chicken pad Thai was soooo good and the chicken satay as an appetizer was perfect for me. It's a small place but worth a trip there to sit down and chill.“

“Def would consider casual dining. We ordered 7 different dishes all were amazing and tasted authentic. Not your typical Thai restaurant from my experience- lots of fresh herbs and unique flavors. Also food is very reasonably priced- will def visit again.“

“I have been coming here for years and Ruma Izakaya remains my favorite Japanese spot in the area. From the sushi to the entree’s, sides, incredible miso soup, and smoothies, Runa Izakaya wins my heart and my stomach over every time! “I haven't eaten here since the relocation from Calunet City. I went last night and the food tasted just the same. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. The staff was friendly. my waitress was knowledgeable, and engaging. This was the best birthday dinner I've had in awhile. I will be back soon.“

“This place reminds me of the old Chinatown before COVID and the reason I used to go to Chinatown. It's, affordable with good portions, it has that older Chinese restaurant feel to it, yet clean, and the service is good with a fast waitress who has a good memory and doesn't need a notepad. Service is fast and the food is fresh and hot served with tea. Free parking close by. Highly recommend you check it out and if you like your food a bit spicy, ask for it and it will make a huge difference.“

“Bamboo garden is a hidden gem inside of a first I almost passed it by well, I'm glad I didn't. This place has been a local gem ever since Number One Chop Suey in Oak Forest closed this is. My new go-to for Chinese food. I had the chicken walnut dinner spicy and my friend had beef. Broccoli, both dishes were very good. The restaurant itself was clean. However, they did seem a bit unexpectedly short-staffed for our visit. I would go back. I would recommend it to local friends.“

“Not sure why the lower ratings. I have never had any issues with this place and have been going here for at least 10 years. The smoothies are great, everything's fresh and flavorful.
Kung Pao, bourbon/orange chicken, beef fried rice and whatever else I'm currently forgetting.
You can tell everything's fresh made because there are variations to the ingredients, but ultimately it's all the same.“

“Tuay Thai is definitely a staple in our house! with great portion sizes, price and ease, we are never disappointed. every dish or item we have had we enjoy. the woman at the front is the sweetest and always so helpful. 10/10 would recommend! ❤️😋“
