“Frankie's since 1988 is hands-down, the best restaurant in the southwest Chicago suburbs. My son and I went for my birthday and there was no place I would rather go. The decor is trendy yet elegant and I really enjoyed the music that was playing. Service was quick and friendly. The signature Frankie's old-fashioned was amazing! Although the lasagna is my absolute favorite, I like to try the chef specials whenever possible, especially the seasonal ones. We had the pumpkin lasagna and the butternut squash risotto with crumbled Italian sausage.... Both were amazing! Whether it's your 20th time back or your first time here, the staff and the owner will make you feel like Family. This is truly a gem in the south suburbs. If you're reading this review to see if you want to go to Frankie‘s, don't hesitate... Just make the reservation...You won't be disappointed.“

“We had friends in town for the night and knew we would get a good meal and experience at Gaia. We sat outside so had to pause conversation for the passing BNSF and Metra trains, but that is all part of the ambiance. We had the arrancini special appetizer which had the perfect ratio of rice to filling. I had the halibut, and it was perfectly prepared with a piccata sauce and angel hair. Our friends enjoyed that the staff is familiar and all welcoming which adds to the neighborhood feel.“

“Finally got to try an Italian beef sandwich, and it didn't disappoint.
Huge sandwich at a decent price. I barely had time to put my credit card back in my wallet that my order was ready 🤪.
The beef is juicy and delicious. I also liked the hot peppers. I had mine with extra american cheese but it didn't really add much, the beef speaks for itself.“

“We chose Ottimo to host our daughter’s bridal shower. Everything exceeded our expectations ! When we arrived we were greeted by Danny. He confirmed all of our choices for the day and was there for any questions that arose. Food was served hot and everyone was raving about how good it was. “I owe the Jullianni's family an apology. I've been ordering here since 2009 when I moved to Palos and the food is always great. I always get delivery and the food is always hot, on time, and delicious. On top of that, their prices are extremely resonable, especially in today's economy. I should gave given this place a 5 star review 15 years ago. Restaurants like this are rare these days. The Palos community is very fortunate to have a local place like Jullianni's“

“Visited Ela’s restaurant in Western Springs over the weekend. On Sunday they have a half off pizza special. Highly recommend the pizza. It is a thicker dough, but it is absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the calamari which was just as good. Service from Rebecca was exceptional and overall good experience.“

“Hosted a small dinner with family after a baptism and had a great time! The food was absolutely delicious, service was excellent, and the ambiance was very nice. We were seated in a semi-private area by the fireplace and had a dedicated cake and gift table supplied. The nearby bar was a nice feature too as it was Bears Sunday. Our menu consisted of minestrone soup, hot fresh bread, tossed salad, fried chicken, mostacolli bolognese, sausage and peppers, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and ice cream. I had a one hour layover in midway, and my gate was in another concourse. I felt like it was a small gamble to eat there and make it across the airport in time. But the service was simply top-notch!

The food was good too! The chicken tenders felt like Costco chicken tenders, but they were prepared well. The best part? The chicken wings! Order that appetizer because you won't regret it! The wings were huge for chicken wings! Everyone one had a good deal of meat on them. Really impresses that those giant wings were hiding in an airport.“

“We came here as a large group of 15 and the staff did a great job setting up tables outdoors quickly to accommodate us. The pizza itself was very good, and we all enjoyed the food. Our server seemed fairly new but was really putting in the effort, which we appreciated.

The only downside was that someone nearby was smoking, which took away from the experience since we had a pregnant guest and four very young children with us. The Smoke-Free Illinois Act applies to all outdoor eating and drinking areas, making it illegal to smoke there if employees are present to serve food which they were. The staff did not enforce this law which we felt they should have. We hope management can train their staff on this issue and that the staff enforce it.

All in all it was a good outing and the place has a lot of potential for families and groups.“

“My sister Shelly Nagy purchased tickets to a Sunday afternoon drag brunch to celebrate my birthday! Marco not only held the door open for his guests, but he was also very kind and generous! He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast!
