“Have played all four courses. Favorite is the most expensive, #4 Dubsdread. I walked with young Tiger Woods. Easy for him, knee knocker for me and my 18 handicap playing the tips and I was on a cart. Easy to get in trouble. Easy to get worn out playing out of bunkers. At the end of the day, A DREAM COME TRUE. I hope to play Dubsdead just one more time. Worth every cent.“

“I go here 2-3 times a week to sing, drink and mingle with every customer. Everyone talks to you and the staff is the greatest line up anywhere. They love their customers and they like to have fun, as I have seen them dance to karaoke or just being silly with each other. The front deck is amazing and I can't wait for the fun meals once the kitchen is finished. I used to make this a once a year place, but now it is a must stop everytime if out for drinks. “Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. They are serious about their libations and happy to share their knowledge. I really like this place. Good vibe and great drinks. Check it out. Not sure why some clown gave it two stars. “Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

Needless to say, I have been to The Works Tavern a few times and it's some of the best food in Chicago, especially on the south side. Mike is a culinary expert and my last visit proved it. I legitimately had the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had. The steak was juicy, the bread was soft and the cheese was super cheesy (10/10).The food is always fresh, the beer is always cold and my kids love the pizza! They have a beautiful space in the back of the bar that is attached to the building, completely enclosed, but feels like you are outside due to all of the glass. My friends were kind enough to take me to this pub for some dinner and we were pleased at our food and dining experience. When you walk in you are met with traditional Irish decor, and a lovely fireplace in the dining area. Very welcoming and clean. I liked it immediately. Heather H. waited on us and was very friendly and helpful with making some dinner suggestions. It is a very cute interior and warm environment. My friends got Guiness of course and I was pleased to see they had a surprisingly good selection of white wine, so I opted for a glass of the Joel Gott sauvignon blanc ($9.25). I was starving and got the Wild Alaskan blackened salmon ($19.95) MM MMM with a side Salad and OH YES house made blue cheese dressing to die for. Very generous portion of fish, perfectly cooked.My friends shared a basket of crinkle cut fries ($5), curry sauce ($3.50) and Irish sausage ($6), plus Southwest Chicken Egg Rolls ($7.95). The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, and the food is really good. The dinner menu has a very impressive selection, a little bit of everything.“
