“I went for lunch today and had the catfish, dinner salad, and Cole slaw. It was an actual channel catfish, cooked with the most perfect crust that was not at all grease on it, the salad had the freshest salad greens, slices if cucumber, and tomatoes, with delicious croutons. The cole slaw is made there, is creamy, and I fell in love with all of it. The owner is a perfectionist and the food is too quality! I have not found anyone else in Peoria that serves this quality of food. I will be there at least once a week! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!”

“I can't say enough about Saffron Social! The food was phenomenal! We had the appetizer special - deconstructed sushi of lump crab, mango and cucumber - a delightful combination of goodness! And our main meal was also a special - lobster and scallops with a wine sauce over spaghetti. Could not be any better! Perfectly cooked and excellent flavor. The ambience was super stylish and our server made it extra pleasant! Oh and I can't forget the delicious smoked old fashioned. The cocoa bitters and maple syrup made it stand out! Staff saw that we were walking in with presents for a birthday and were so helpful and kind. Our family has been to other locations for Chuck E Cheese and they do not compare. Ok fine, BUT today I go there and order the same drink and they wanted to charge me $7.00 for a 16oz??? Starbucks and Dunkin charge $4.49 for the same drink and size. I go to CXT to support local. But today was probably my last day. The gentleman today fixed me up and I was charged $5.00. I think you Managers better circle back because no one will pay $7.00 for a 16oz iced latte.”

“I get take out from Express Wok a lot. The food is GOOD and the prices are not outrageous. I like their Garlic Chicken, their Beef Broccoli, and their Won Ton Soup. They are often open until 9pm which is good, too. They cook up food fresh. (Some places cook up food early in the day and just warm it up--which you can taste and it's not great!). The lady at the register is nice. I think she may be co-owner or part of a family ownership. The atmosphere is a bit standard with booths that have the plastic-y type curved benches, not padded benches, that's why I gave a 4/5 in that area. I really like this place.”

We got two different waitresses. The first waitress gave us poor service. The other one at least tried. It took 1 half hours just to get served and paid. I usually leave a decent tip but after this experience I left $2.00. Our food was watery and had poor flavor. “This was a first time stop. The restaurant was very quiet and secluded. So we was not sure it was opened. We saw no cars but one then people started coming in to the drive through. Inside the restaurant was clean, and seemed to be kept up pretty well. The service was good and the young man brought our lunch right to us. The food was okay too much salt on the fries and the coleslaw was a tad bit dry needed more dressing. This place is in a good location near by Sam's club. If you are hungry for a quick bite that will not break the bank. This is your stop.

“Starbucks at 7610 N Orange Prairie Rd looks very happy indeed, beginning with its great location: it's in the indoor area of a giant, sparkling supermarket Hy-Vee. That makes the stop at Starbucks for a cup of coffee or a snack quite natural. The choice of options is clearly displayed on the menus and info boards, and the amiable, well-trained staff is happy to greet you and get the order ready. Cappuccino I ordered was good, just a little bit strong for me, and Crispy Grilled Cheese Sandwich was absolutely excellent -- fresh, hot and very tasty. The ambiance in this Starbucks also couldn't be happier -- it is placed in a very spacious area, has no closed walls around it -- so you can easily access it, besides it faces the flower section of the supermarket. Some bright flower bouquets and cute decorations are placed near the seating area, creating a cute little flower garden, of sorts (please, see the photos). The seating area itself is fairly small, but functional, and you can also eat at the dining area near the exit from the supermarket, or place the order as a take out. Starbucks also offers a lot of brand items for purchase, including gift cards. All the current sanitation regulations were observed by the staff and customers. I have been to this Starbucks several times lately -- and I always enjoyed my experience at this coffee shop. Thank you and see you soon!”
