“I order often from China Wok. Most of the time they are fantastic. Every now and than maybe a new employee comes along or someone is trying to manage with little help.

However the other week when I went in I had ordered my order to the other location. Not only was I met with grace from this location as I told them my mistake. But they remade my order and added in a few extra things. As they noticed I was off. Like mentioned we order often.

I was so touched by this experience as I had a meltdown from life events inside my favorite Chinese food place. Of all places you think you would. You just couldn't get yourself together. Yet someone that just knows you like... fill in the blank of the thing you order. Saw you were hurting and met you with kindnesses, grace, and love. She even brought my food out to my car for me and gave me a little side hug and said it was going to be oh k. A few weeks later still healing, but it is oh k. As far as customer service. I would pay extra just to know someone cares, and they do here. I can testify to that. ❤️ Some people say people can heal you with a meal. Maybe not physical but definitely mentally that was healing and touching.“

“Delicious! Fast and friendly service. I prefer their chicken and beef over any of their fried selections like sesame chicken, but the freshness of the food is always on point. I love the Mongolian beef and any of the fried rice (though the specialty rice with all the proteins in it is my fave) and my husband loves the moo shu beef and the straw mushroom chicken. We also enjoy sharing the garlic chicken which is probably my overall fave on the menu. The egg rolls are also my absolute favorite and I order them every time. The peanut sauce makes them so perfect and savory.“

“Recently moved back from Colorado and have gone years without a good place for boba, egg rolls and crab Rangoons. This place was a 10/10! The atmosphere was great the employees/owners were phenomenal we had an allergy issue and they right away stepped in wanting to accommodate us which is very rare for places to jump in fast wanting to help accommodate. Definitely recommend this place we will for sure be back! Not to mention the bobo drink containers were soo adorable!“

“Did GrubHub and food was hot and ready on time. We got pad Thai, orange chicken, dragon & phoenix and a few other things. Portions were decent and containers were full and packed well with oranges and broccoli to add color. We ordered mostly mild and one medium spice level. Mild was indeed mild and just really lacked flavor… it was ok, just not great. I’d definitely try it again with more spice to see if it alters the flavors.“

“I ordered the General Tso's Chicken daily special. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The chicken fried rice & chicken egg roll were good but the egg roll was a little doughy. I called in my order, they were very professional and my food was ready for pickup in 15-20 mins.“

“I was there today for lunch and asked if they could leave the fried rice off because I could not eat rice. I realized later that she must have misunderstood me as she got very offended and said "if you don't like it - go someplace else." I exchanged a few words with her as I thought her comment to go someplace else just because I asked for no fried rice on my Plate (I cannot eat rice anymore) was very rude. We fininished our lunch which was delicious and went on our way. I have frequented this restaurant several times and have never made a special request so YUM YUM lady was always nice. If she reads this I would like to APOLOGIZE to her as I think her fried rice is delicious. I just am unable to eat rice at this point. A misunderstanding that could have been avoided.“

Overall 7/10 it's the second closest spot around so definitely will come back to try different things but small decent place parking was good! No problems or complaints there!“

“I've eaten at many good sushi spots and this is one of my absolute favorites for so many reasons. Everything is sooo fresh, portions are large, and the staff is great(ask for Liam, he's the best)! Liam is especially great to making sure kiddos have a great dining experience too and is very attentive.“

“born and raised in chicago which obv has some of the best chinese food. that being said, when i tried this place yesterday i was blown away actually lol. the chicken pad thai was some of the best i’ve ever had. such a good portion and sooo fresh. the crab rangoon was also amazing! had the perfect amount of filling and wasn’t overly breaded/crispy.
i will deff be coming here more often since i’m living near by and am super impressed with the quality! ❤️“

“Gilbert's have the best pepper steak. The egg foo young was good. The orange chicken meat was overcooked, tough, dried out, and soggy. The honey garlic chicken was overcooked, tough, dried out, and soggy. Please fix the chicken by making it moist and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Thank you.“

“I’ve only had one not-so-great experience here. I cannot eat meat so I rarely eat at an outside location. All (but one) time I’ve eaten there it’s been delish and perfect. My dad loved the BBQ Pork. The vegetable egg rolls are my go-to. I frequently have it delivered out of laziness, and the delivery driver always knocks and leaves my food ((exactly what I want!)) I would give it 4.8/5.0 stars. I’ve never been inside so idk what to say about it.“

“I'm vegan, and I got delivery from here on a whim, because they had vegetarian options and I wanted to try a new place. I'm always reassured when a menu has labeled vegan items, so I figured this was a safe gamble. I got the eggplant garlic sauce and it was one of the best eggplant dishes I've ever had. The salt and pepper tofu wasn't what I was expecting, but it was also super delicious. The vegan pho was fine, but I'm not a big pho person to begin with. Plus, the portions are quite generous so I can nibble on it for a few days!“
