“Great Boba Spot! We tried five different drinks: blended brown sugar with tapioca, peach gummy bear with lychee tapioca, strawberry gummy bear with strawberry popping, mango with lemon, and another strawberry gummy bear with regular tapioca. All of them were insanely sweet. Like, “kids bouncing off the walls and singing kpop songs at full volume at 10 pm” sweet. Kids loved it. We the bedtime enforcers, did not. The service was a bit slow, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.“

“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“
