“First time at the Pizza Pushers, ordered takeout. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice clean cozy dining area. Ordered a sausage pizza and a Wild Hog. The pizza was delicious and could tell made with fresh, quality ingredients. For a guy that does Friday night date night every week in my opinion I got lots of good food for the price. I think next time I’ll eat there and enjoy a beer with my pizza.“

“What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.“

I worked for Rosatis for over 10yrs & although I like the food, the pizza kept cutting the roof of my mouth but with this place, the pizza crust is a great balance of soft & crispy, at least in my opinion. “Jude's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Crystal Lake. I love the variety of internationally inspired options and the size of the plates is perfect. I brought a very large group of ladies there for Black Friday, everyone has particular tastes and was able to find something they liked. They have a very trendy area in the back with a huge couch/bench for larger parties which was so comfortable. To top it off, the staff are always kind and accommodating during our visits!“

My most recent trip with my fiancee was no exception.The servers are friendly and helpful, the food is delivered quickly (even when they are busy), the portions are huge and the quality of the food is outstanding. While I've had their pizza before and really enjoyed it, I constantly find myself drawn to the "Bootie," an Italian beef sandwich topped with mozzarella cheese. It's got enough au jus in the sandwich to make it very flavorful (though next time I'll probably ask for some extra on the side, as I love sandwiches like this extra wet).My fiancee was impressed by the salad that came with her dinner, noting that it looked and tasted like it was made fresh to order. “One of my favorite weeknight spots for dinner and a cocktail. This super quaint restaurant is nestled into downtown East Dundee. You are promptly greeted by a host/hostess. They feature a seasonal food and cocktail menu, and it never disappoints!! The pig and fig wood fired pizza is mouth watering. The wood fired chicken thighs liven up your tastebuds with a little kick of spice from the diced jalapeños. (I forgot to take photos of our food, as we were pretty hungry). The staff is inviting, friendly and helpful with all of their menu favorites. You don't need reservations, however if it's a Friday or Saturday evening I would suggest it.“

“Loved SLYCE Pizza. My wife and I are big fans of coal-fired pizza. Where I'm from in the NYC tri-state area, the best Italian food is in neighborhood family tavern restaurants and those thin crust tavern pies are cooked in super hot ovens. SLYCE brings it all back. Quality ingredients, great suggested combinations, good service and pleasant ambience. There's a lot of pizza choices in Chicagoland and we drive 25 minutes to SLYCE. There must be at least 100 pizza joints in the 25 mile radius. I'll take SLYCE. Keep up the great work!“

“My favorite pizza place! Tony V's was one of the first pizza places I tried when I moved into the area, and I've continued to go there since. Good prices and some pretty good sides as well. They also have coupons all the time for their pizzas! I haven't personally sat inside to eat, but it would be a good place for small casual gatherings as it's not very spacious inside. They do have a patio as well though! Staff has been friendly when I've visited. Definitely give it a try! I really like their thin crust with pepperoni and onion“

He would keep up with checking in every so often which was nice to have the owner involved and actually care how it was all going. I had to cut the meatballs in half just to handle it. Meatballs were just ok. Parmesan Fries, Italian Egg Rolls and the soup were all delicious. The Chicken Tenders were just average. There is another location only 9 mins away but We go to this one a good 20 mins away because of the quality and service.“

“This restaurant participates in the 'Too Good to Go' program where good food that has not been sold is offered at a fraction of the retail cost. We had never been there, but when we were able to get a surprise bag of pizza for $4, we decided to give it a try. We got to try 3 different kinds of pizza, and it was all great! “Antioch pizza shop has the best pizza around, it’s consistently delicious and I think fairly priced compared to some others. What really prompted me to write a review though was tonight our pizza wasn’t ready on time (had 10 mins to go), I didn’t mind because these things happen. “I don’t make a ton of reviews but I had to review Pinemoor because this place knows thin crust pie better than anyone in a 25 mile radius, I’m convinced. I’ve tried just about every other pizza spot in Crystal Lake and none of them have even a contender spot in the race against Pinemoor. The crust alone is a perfectly imperfect canvas, and the sauce is exactly what any true pie lover would want the artist to paint it with. Next time I’m getting extra sauce on top! 6/5 stars all day. I found my new favorite local pie joint, and it’s Pinemoor.“

“Absolutely fantastic establishment.The aesthetic here is comfortable and classic / medieval.The staff are all friendly and engaging.The original architecture houses a bar downstairs and upstairs with a buffet.The bartender, Scott, was knowledgeable and friendly. He explained that the downstairs bar was the original architecture of the establishment with the main floor buffet being the old upper floor home of the previous owners.This establishment is family owned and has been around since the '70sRecent renovation has brought a castle aesthetic from outside.Everything is updated (modernized checkout, tap pay, etc) but it has kept it's classic feel.All ingredients are made in house, to include sauces, seasonings, pizzas, and a diverse menu that can be modified to your liking.Aside from the menu you can eat at the buffet style eatery on the main floor.The main floor encompasses a family-friendly area with arcade games.The absolute ONLY downside to this place is the parking lot.While being rustic and brick layed, it does not bode well for vehicles without adequate clearance from various potholes.So Don't bring your lowered Honda Civic.“
