“Good spot for a variety of food.
I stop by in here for their pizza. It's a thin crust and the largest size takes 12 min to make. 15 min if you ask for it extra crispy. 30 bucks. feeds 3 or 4 grown hungry men, depending. They say it's for more but I say my portions test might be more accurate.
You can ask them to slice it in a specific way. Bottled drinks around 3 dollars with the tax included. Overall if you're splitting the bill with 3 or maybe 4 other people you won't go over 13 ish dollars for pizza and drinks. Pizza is pretty good, staff is nice and if pizza isn't your thing they have alot of other options.“

“There's something about their wings. They are not large but they are good. At an extra cost you can do all wings on the order or all drumsticks....they got other food options too and alcohol if that's your thing. But try the wings.(crispy)“

If you enjoy sweet and refreshing cocktails, I highly recommend the 'Gotta Have Faith.' Overall, I would definitely return to try more dishes and highly recommend visiting this unique spot. “Atmosphere is cute, good and the salmon tastes fresh we got it on a bagel and egg Benedict but the flavor overall was a bit lacking. The service checks on you a great amount but the bathroom has toilet paper that is the thinnest I’ve ever seen. I do like that the coffee is refilled! I’d say 4.5 stars but that’s not an option“

We choose Coopers Hawk not only for their great drinks, food preparation and portions, but also because they have substantial Gluten-Free options and dedicated fryers so everyone can enjoy. They take allergy consciousness seriously. While Kyle our server was prompt, courteous, and engaging I have to say the entire staff gave us a feeling they truly appreciated our choice dining with them. Everyone we spoke with or even passed in the hallway smiled and made eye contact. The Pretzel bread (including Gluten-Free bread) along with appetizers (Calamari & Brussel Sprouts) were the perfect size for our party of five(5) to share. We enjoyed a variety of dishes (Chicken, Pretzel-Crusted Pork Chops, Spaghetti w/Meatballs, Gnocchi Alla Vodka, and Salad w/Chicken & Avocado), all delicious. “Great little diner, huge portions, and the food was so good. We had the hash plates, biscuits and gravy, their special french toast, pancakes, and it was all delicious. We went Saturday morning and it was definitely the old folks time but it wasn't too busy and the food came out quickly. If I'm ever back in Chicago, I will be back.“

“Don’t order the short rib mini sandwiches! They were 90 percent fat. When I informed the waitress she indicated that there is always fat on those sandwiches. My sandwich was mostly grizzle and fat. My friend had the same thing but hers at least had some meat.“

“Went with family for the Friday night fish special. Was pretty good, but the gem was the variety of sizes that came with the platter. Everything could have used a bit more seasoning, except the veggies provided with it were done well. Typical decor for this type of establishment.“

“Greetings my Foodzies, tonight we decided to try a restaurant that we have passed by numerous times. The great escape on Irving at 9540 w Irving Park rd. in Schiller Park.
This is a unique restaurant that has been around for years. The property has a rich history (see the picture I have posted with the story).
The restaurant’s bar area is very rustic with a bar that was hand carved in 1889, very impressive. TVs have been added to draw in a people who want to eat and have a drink while watching TV. Also a gaming section in the bar area.
Music is old school 50-60s, our server Mareen was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable.
We started with Grilled Calamari it was grilled nicely but could have used a few more seconds to get a little more char flavor. It was also missing the signature balsamic. Glenda chose the Rigatoni in Vodka sauce with chicken; the chicken was scarce and the sauce was not the traditional sauce it had an odd flavor, not terrible but not what we expected. With a cup of lentil soup, tasty but needed a little extra salt. I chose the baby back ribs and broasted chicken (these dishes they are known for) the chicken was very good, crispy skin and very juicy. The ribs were tender but a little dry. The BBQ sauce was the recipe is the recipe of the owner’s grandfather. It was a Kansas City type sweet sauce with a nice smoky flavor (as a first time patron we were given a bottle to take home). I had the baked French onion soup topped with mozzarella, I’m used to Gruyere, Swiss, or Gouda but ut was very good.

I met the owner of the restaurant the food is made fresh when you order we are coming back again next week Tuesday after my DR appointment. “My wife and I enjoyed the Spring menu when we visited Seasons 52, the keyword being 'enjoyed.' It's always a treat to dine at Seasons 52, and this time was no exception. From the Tuna Tartare appetizer, to the entrees of Carmelized Scallops and Shrimp and Grits, to the shot glass-sized Turtle Cheesecake and Oatmeal Cookie desserts, everything was delicious. And Valentyna, our server, did a great job taking care of us. It had been over a year since the last time we visited Seasons 52. We won't wait that long next time.“
