I ordered the fried shrimp basket and they were pretty good. 8.3 The basket came with cocktail sauce plus fries too which was cool. I also knocked back a few old-fashioned not bad nothing crazy thou. Overall I've been here a few times and customer service has been constantly pleasant. 8.5.“

“Beautiful place and environment to celebrate special occasions. I've taken three people there to celebrate birthdays, and it's always a great experience and, indeed, special for the birthday celebrants. The owner makes the rounds and makes sure everything is to everyone's liking. The staff is attentive and friendly. Live music is a great plus and very enjoyable. A special candle is lit for special occasions and a rose and nice dessert is given to birthday celebrants. Definitely a lovely and memorable experience for all.“

“The Patio never disappoints. Good food and friendly service. The cream of chicken soup is my go-to for lunch. The dining room is clean and bright. Patio is a nice place to meet friends for lunch or dinner because there is plenty of seating. Food is brought to your table but since there isn’t a server you don’t feel rushed.“

“I got the fiesta skillet with chicken sausage instead of chorizo with apple cinnamon pancakes and I liked the meal except for the chicken sausage that was added and it’s only because they were patties instead of links. My daughter enjoyed her Oreo pancakes and my other daughter didn’t like her breakfast quesadilla because it didn’t have that authentic taste but she says she will try something else next time.“

“This was my first visit to Avocado theory , we were dining in , after waiting for quite awhile we noticed other tables were given a number , we went up and inquired what was taking so long and if we needed a number, the staff admitted they forgot to put our order , they then promptly prepared our order and refunded our money , we did not ask for them to do that and it was really appreciated. The food was great and it was nice to see a business that really wanted to keep their customers happy ! Kudos to the manager and staff, thank you for turning the experience into a great one .“

“We finally were in town again and got a chance to dine in to see what this restaurant was all about. I've had takeout from the establishment before and it was delicious, so I wanted to see how the service was. The gentleman at the front when you come in was polite, and friendly. He walked us to our booth and sat us. Our server Cheryl came over and took our order, she was friendly and helpful. We knew what we wanted so my fiance and I both ordered the turkey skillet and I had mine with wheat bread and the eggs over medium. I loved how the inside looked, it wasn't dirty or looked like it wasn't well maintained. The food came out and just like I remembered with my takeout it was delicious. Our server came over to check on us several times and always greeted us with a smile. I also want to point out that they have plenty of parking which is hard to find at a good restaurant. I also like how well-maintained the bathroom was. We will definitely return as I feel there are so many other items on the menu that I would like to try. So the next time we're in town we will stop by and have ourselves some more great breakfast.“

“We had a great lunch here! We've been living right around the corner for about a year and just discovered Caffe Milan. The sandwiches we ordered off the restaurant week menu were so good! The chicken salad on a pretzel bun was amazing and the chicken ranch wrap was tasty too. They came with a huge pickle spear too. It was the perfect amount of food! Mary was kind and talked with us. She made the experience more personal. We will definitely be back!“

“We hit Jesse's up on the way south for Thanksgiving. If I lived around the area, I would come in for the food and just to watch the personalities that come through. It's like being in a comfy sitcom, and it's all entertaining. The food is great, my cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, the bun was toasted nicely, and the veggies were freshly cut, as are the fries, which also were fantastic. Jesse herself was a riot, telling my kids "Get your drinks from the fridge, it's just like at home!" One of them said that she reminded them of the "bar owner that shows up with a shotgun to save the day in a horror movie." If you're headed north or south on 57, skip the franchises and get your dinner here!“

“I loved my meal so much that I had to immediately sit down and write this place a review. I had the crispy steak crispy mix with fries and and drink, and it was worth every single penny. It was around $15, which, when places like McDonald's want $13 for a Big Mac meal, there's really no point in NOT paying the extra $2 for something that tastes this amazing. The person (i'm assuming owner) who took my order was kind and friendly, I felt welcome. You'd be surprised how many places fail at that. The flavors and aroma coming from my food were out of this world, and I won't be forgetting this place anytime soon. They really offer that Chicago flavor and menu right here in Oak Forest.“

“This was first time here. It was definitely a vibe and the peach mango slush was so fyeeeee it had just enough alcohol not too much and have you groovin. The music was nice too and service okay otherwise it would've been 5 stars. In so many instances once we were done with the drinkwe felt rushed we still had the platter left to eat but decided to just go instead. I am now looking at my receipt and there is a tip automatically added even though they have a cash jar Beware! I don't live close and if I come back it's for the Peach Mango Slush. I would strongly suggest a sign no outside food unless it's a live event and if there is a table time limit let your patrons know ahead. “Mom of the Year here because my 10-year-old said he had the best birthday ever here. I called for info, the response was prompt and helpful. I wasn't sure how many bays to reserve and how much food to order for 25 boys but Kathy and Dominic were very helpful and didn't try to oversell. The host and bar staff were amazing. Sit-N-Bull is located in the town's "business" district, which is a pretty funny description of this. Basically it has a storage facility and some empty lots. The bar is located along a cool wooden sidewalk close to another bar that never seems to be open. Basic looking kind of small town bar. It may seem kind of rough, but the bartender the last time was friendly. The bar is bigger than it looks. Has a few tables and games. They're known in town for slots. Got a whiskey and Coke. It's about $5 for a mixed drink. The food isn't anything special. Has potato chips. Maybe they have more but they didn't seem to. Plenty of TVs to watch games. There's also enough room for live music. Has to be one of the few decent places to hang out around here. It fits in with the community for sure. This is a good place if you don't care about fancy things.“

“This place has an extremely unassuming presence from the outside. They have a menu so diverse, I wasn't expecting anything to be done particularly well, but boy was I mistaken. When you walk in, you will notice some slot game machines on one wall and a bar to your right. There are tables along the wall and a whole separate room with more tables/booths. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, perhaps around 14:30 and we were greeted by the Bartendress Sarah informing us that we could have a seat anywhere we'd like. We chose the high top table by the slot machines near the bar. Sarah brought us menus and took our drink order- water for me and coke for my BF. I wasn't feeling well, as I had not eaten all day and was feeling carsick. It was then that I recalled that soda water with bitters helps nausea- so I asked Sarah for that as well- without ice. She kindly asked whether I'd like a pint or a smaller glass, I responded the pint. When she brought it over, she asked if it was the right color, as she wasn't sure how strong to make it. I tasted it and it was perfect. My BF ordered the burger cooked medium with cheddar cheese, fried egg, and bacon with fries. I ordered the soup of the day which happened to be like Rueben- I forget the actual name of it- broth with mainly corned beef and sauerkraut, with some potatoes and carrots. It also came with some saltine-like crackers. My soup and the bitters slowly revived me from the brink of death. Thank you Sarah and thank you 5th quarter! My BF loved his 7oz burger. It was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The fries looked like they were battered and reminded me of when id ordered get fish and chips at an Irish pub in the past. We were both happy with our decision to eat here and will definitely be back., not only because we want to try more of the food, but because of Sarah's customer service. You get fresh food, lots of it, many different options be it appetizers, salads, main foods, dessert, awesome coffee and desserts and very reasonable prices.
