“Tony's is hands-down the best Italian beef you'll find in the Chicagoland area. Customize it how you like with sweet or hot peppers, cheese (provolone, swiss, mozzarella, or American), red sauce, giardiniera, wet (dunked/dipped) or dry (why?).

You can also get a ton of other food like Iltaco pizza puffs (my fave, which I highly recommend trying if you never have - basically a deep fried tortilla-wrapped sausage pizza), meatball, chicken, steak, and fish sandwiches, Vienna Beef (the best) hot dogs, Polish sausage, gyros, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, tamales, BLTs, a variety of breakfast foods, deep fried appetizers, salads, and soft serve ice cream, shakes, and malts.

Seriously, this place is awesome. And if you're a tourist wanting a genuine Chicago foodie experience, you need to add it to your list.“

“Sherry has great customer service, she was helpful and funny at the same time. Some people are so focused on serving the product that they can be rude and dismissive but not sherry. She was great and she’s been there too long to not be considered for a greater position. I don’t even write reviews so I’m going to be back in order to see whether this review helped her out.“

“I worked nearby during the 90's and was a frequent customer. I was nearby recently, so stopped in to pick up lunch to take home. The prices had gone up some (like everything else) but not excessively. The quantity is still extraordinarily large, I purchased the Gyro Plate and when I arrived home I realized how heavy it was so I weighed it on my kitchen scale.... it was over 3 1/2 pounds! It provided almost 3 large sandwhiches! A deal at any price! I will continue to stop there whenever I am in the area and reco.mend it highly.“

“I grew up in Philly, and my parents ran their own restaurant selling cheesesteaks, hoagies, hamburgers, and hot dogs. People came from miles around for their delicious cheesesteaks. So of course I had to check out Charley's in Olympia Fields. I ordered their Old School Cheesesteak. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars because I thought it was a bit salty. I also didn't feel that the cheese was actual cheese but a Velveta-like cheese you squeeze out of a bottle. If I return to Charley's I will ask that they cut down on the salt and allow the customer to salt it on their own. I'll also discreetly ask about the "cheese" they use. My parents cooked the steaks with actual slices of American cheese not cheese squeezed from a bottle.
I'm happy for Charleys as I read all the positive views here, but if any of the reviewers grew up in Philly, i think their verdict would mirror mine!“

“This place has the best crepes I've ever had in my life. I'm so glad I live close enough to come here regularly. The staff is fantastic and the quality of the food is top tier. I have thoroughly enjoyed every thing ive ordered from here, but the Levazza Crepes are definitely my favorite. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys good food. And it's such a nice change from the usual mc donalds, dunkin donut type breakfast stops you normally see at an oasis.“

I had a taste for a milkshake, so I stopped at DQ. I had ordered the jalapeños burger, onion rings, peanut butter milkshake/cookie milkshake. The burger was BANG BANG BANG BANGING. Onion rings were cooked to perfection. It's crispy and easy to eat. You know how some onions rings b soft, and when you bite into it, the whole onion comes out the breading. ??‍♀️ NOT THIS 1 BAABBE. The fries were good. Milkshake was MILKSHAKING. WHEN I SAY MY MILKSHAKE BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD. That's what I mean. I was creamy and you can taste all the cookies in it. I'm not sure all the cookies, but I know it was peanut butter cookies, oreo cookies, and a sugar cookie. Don't quote me, but yes, it fulfilled my needs. FYI, MY FIRST TIME EATING DQ. If you never had them like me, go try them out?“

“I was passing by on my way to Indiana and I saw Shrimp Xpress and decided to stop by. The fried shrimp came in a paper bag with a tray and they were fresh, hot and delicious! They came with a nice tangy sauce, and I ordered a drink. My shrimp were great the texture was nice and they were not fried too hard and it had a nice batter. What you see photos of is one pound of delicious shrimp. It is an outdated drive thru, and you are ready to quickly pull out once you get your order. The staff was nice and friendly and my order was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. The reason for my 3 stars is because of the time it took them to acknowledge me when I arrived to the speaker. The reason for my rating of the atmosphere was just the layout of the drive thru.“

“This place is a flexitarian dream! It has something for every type of eater…carnivores, vegans, vegetarians….everyone! Found this spot after looking endless for somewhere both my boyfriend and myself would enjoy. He’s a Chicago native and loves everything j**** fried, bbqed, and so on but we never get to eat Chicago favorites together because of my vegan diet. Well after finding this spot last night, we are in HEAVEN! This is our new cheat meal spot!! I had the vegan Philly and cauliflower. OMG my taste buds were awakened and I couldn’t put down my food! It was sooooooo flavorful. One of the best vegan philly’s in the entire city!!!! My partner got bbq tips (not pictured) and the chicken Philly. He absolutely loved all of the flavors and the huge portion. He smiled from ear to ear and couldn’t believe I actually found this place. We cannot wait to go back when the vegan menu is more settled….hence the 4 stars. Keep it up! We need more restaurants like this so that carnivores and vegans can share meals together!“
