“Came here on a Friday afternoon, and it was not busy at all! We were greeted and seated right away by a friendly staff. The food was amazing! Good portion sizes too! Will definitely come back! Very kid friendly, they have a cute little play area in the back to keep the toddlers entertained.“

“Small interior, but very nice outdoor patio space to eat at. Started with the chicken pot pie. Nice crispy crust and a great balance of peas, carrots, and chicken. Great flavors but the chicken was a little overcooked messing with the overall texture of the pie filling. The reason I came was to try a sweet pie and ended up getting the chocolate pud’n. The pudding and cocoa whipped cream had perfect consistencies with the pudding being slightly thicker. Dark chocolate curls on top being a nice touch and everything being encompassed by the crust which reminded me of brownie brittle. The slice was not overly sweet but gave me all the chocolate flavor I needed. Can’t wait to come back and try some of their other sweet pies as well the mushroom pot pie.“

Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! I thought it was so rude seeing people freely put tables together to fit their party of 10 and stay there for hours while other individuals or couples can’t even pop a squat.I know many will probably tell me to go to the library or stay home if I want quietness and I think after these experiences I might just do that!It would be nice to enforce some kind of mutual respect for others or for coffee shop owners to create a quiet space for those that way to work on their work quietly while enjoying the environment ?I don’t have the desire to be a business owner but someone please take my idea and do it. “My wife and my go to bakery spot in Chicagoland. Everything we’ve gotten here is fantastic, and it is a regular spot we will frequent until we die! Order anything and you will not be disappointed. I took home the seasonal flavors of lavender and the hazelnut stout. Wow! It was amazing. I can taste the herbal note of lavender. The hz stout was equally nutty and flavorful. The creaminess is astounding even for a cold drink. I had some leftovers in the fridge overnight and it didn't even separate. It was like cream, almost like drinking ice cream but better. It's not too sweet, just a heaven blend of flavors. I read more info and learned they used Kilgis cream. As to the marshmallows, I got a couple of bags with different flavors to try: Earl grey (5/5), cinnamon - not too cinnamon-y which is good but I'm not a fan of cinnamon in general, spicy chocolate (The spice is like a twinkle, 4/5) and salted caramel (5/5 except this was kind of melty), Biscoff (5/5), Ambrosia - feel too much going on. Mocha (uneventful), Mocha (flavor is undefined). And of course opted for vanilla marshmallow for my hot chocolate drinks. I find the marshmallows a tad bit on the sweet side. The barista was super! They had some event going on at the back room when I visited. I'm so proud to have this establishment in the neighborhood. Will come back for sure.“

It's on the smaller side, but I was easily able to find a place to sit and knock out some meetings. I decided to try the iconic marshmallow latte (iced), and I have to say, I get the hype! It's a creamy, iced latte topped with a torched marshmallow. As one might assume, it's a sweet beverage, but I didn't find it to be sickly. I stayed for a couple hours and was able to get some work done without any internet issues, which is a win in my book. Street parking is easy to find. I'll be back!“
