“My mom had a flat tire and we were in our way to fix it but we had to stop in the parking lot in dunkin we tried calling a tow truck nobody picking up so we went inside the dunkin’ and really nice and amazing person asked if our tire is flat and she offered to ask dominos to get the jack but we didn’t no how to so these to amazing pepole helped change the tire“

Or you can have it on their fresh croissants which are also some of the best in the city. The dedication to quality is very apparent here. Also their hot chocolate and matcha cannot get any better. “The pastries are very delicious! I have a variety of them. They are some of the best I have had in unexpected combinations. The latte I had was floral and balanced. It was a Lavender Latte. “The space is big and beautiful with lots of natural light and cool views outside! Their croissant breakfast sandwich was a nice big portion and tasted delicious. Love the location behind the Chicago Park District headquarters so you could go for a stroll or check out the park and recreational fields afterwards.“

“Had been to milli by metric a few days prior and looked forward to coming here. Vibe was very relaxing, staff was really cool, and overall just super great to be there. We don't wait long in line and got to take in the interior designs ( which are just *chefs kiss*). It was a great morning with a ham sussie, paradise bun, chai latte, with some chocolate macaron to go. The chocolate macarons were amazing and was so glad I had gotten them to eat throughout the day. Chai latte had the perfect notes and loved the contrast it had with the ham sussie that I was eating“

“I’ve been loving Loba’s pineapple sourdough muffins. They are beyond delicious! I’m not vegan, but these vegan pastries are life changing! I also am a big fan of their cold brew. This Christmas, I decided to try their take-n-bake kouign-amann; and OMG my family and I were IN LOVE with the Ham & Gruyere kouign-amann! I will need to reorder this again next year!! 100% recommend!“

“After hearing about Omarcito’s from Triple D, we had to try it. The owner, Omar, is hilarious and has a great personality. He greeted everyone as they walked up and held genuine conversations. My husband and I ordered a few different items, and we were not disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and you could tell the meat is marinated because it was super tender. This place is a must!!“

“October Cafe is by far the best coffee shop around Chicagoland…. If you have not tried it you are missing out. The coffee flights change and always come with a wonderful theme. The owners are friendly wonderful strong women who show so much compassion for the community. I am blessed to have found this cafe, as a place that is relaxing and cozy and feels like home. The baristas ring a bell and announce your flight and bring you your meal and drinks if you dine in. So wonderful! Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! “Say YES to pastry! In CHI from Portland Oregon and this was the perfect stop to pickup a delicious drip coffee and we tried the Olive cake pastry - YUMMY!!! Very small shop with little seating that we saw. Amazingly simple elegant and delicious with hints of almond and a cake texture from the olives which makes for a perfect start to the day. Recommended.“

“I usually order a matcha iced latte with banana syrup. The woman with the pink hair makes my drinks and she’s very friendly. Today, there was a new face and I overheard that he’s worked there for months. What threw me off was how he kept wiping his nose and running his hands through his hair while taking orders, then making drinks and serving food. My coffee tasted warm (I ordered a banana iced latte with cf). So I ordered a matcha to make up for it, but the drink itself was overly sweet and way too milky compared to the past drinks I’ve ordered. Maybe it was just a bad day, but overall it’s been decent.“

The only ding here is the lack of food -- for a place that's supposed to be open until 8, they were out of everything except one last caramelized waffle cookie by 1. I was hoping for something with a little protein (many of the photos here showed bagel sandwiches etc!) but they didn't even have the basics. Feels like an oversight!“
