“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. From the employee who took my order (who was highly informative and friendly) to my pickup, I was very impressed! The owner told me about their charcuterie boards and was very passionate. She went out of her way to get my son, who was anxious to leave, gelato—very thoughtful and tasty too! My salad was delicious, and the pizza was amazing. “I ran into the Giordano’s off Lake St and Michigan Ave tonight just to get quarters for parking (unfortunately we had already eaten somewhere else). I gotta say that the staff was SO NICE and so kind about it that next time I’m over that way I will be eating there just because of the interactions I had tonight with a few staff members. As a non-customer tonight they didn’t have to help me out but they did and did it happily and were all super friendly. “Weve had Rosati’s before so many times (who hasn’t?) but we have been coming to this specific location for 2 years countless times & it has become a favorite!
The pizza is always cooked perfectly-No matter the time of day-We’ve Had it at 1 PM and 1 AM and yet it still taste amazing every time!
It has been so consistently good that when we have friends from out of state we take them here for pizza & it’s a huge hit with them! So much so where they now ask “Can we go to Rosati’s again when I come back?”
Lastly, the staff are the sweetest people! Not to mention, they also are the most patient people on earth because we have been there on many busy afternoons and late nights (where let’s just say people are not acting the most classy after drinking) and yet they always are so kind to everyone. They even give out little fries & extras (:
I could go on and on about this location, but if you ever have the chance to go or debating on going- go for it! We are so glad that we accidentally found this little place on a random day 2 years ago!
Btw: We are Vegetarian & I know some people hate on cheese pizza because it is “too plain“ but The cheese pizza here is amazing-You don’t even need any sausage or pepperoni!“

“Pizza was ok, nothing to write home about. I got a slice of sausage, slice of pepperoni, some wings and a cream soda. Wings were also ok. I wouldn’t choose salad dressing as a dipping sauce but hey what are you gonna do. Good crunch on the crust. I bet if I ordered a whole pie and asked for extra sauce well done I would like it more.“

“No doubt the pizza’s are amazing but once we bring them home they do not taste good as we dine in at eat. Also, not only me but alot of people have noticed how rude the guy is who picks up the call. I am giving my order over the phone and he rushes me because he has someone coming in his restaurant. Next , I ask him couple of questions which he shows so much attitude. Third , I hate dining in this place . The guy keeps checking to see if we didn’t make the tables or floor messy. No kind of professionalism. We do not eat free . You are always greeted with a smiling face and the smells alone will keep you coming back for more. The pizza here is consistently incredible. “We were recommended to come here by some friends to try the famous pizzas and amazing salad. It was a fun experience, the interior was so open and colorful, and parking was alright. Service was awesome as was the food! The Penne A Malanti dish was quite addictive and will be ordering it again when back in Chicago. The Deep Dish Pizzas were pretty good and got full after 2 slices sadly, first time ever trying deep dish pizza and it did not disappoint. Will be working on making more space in the future! Definitely reccomend trying them if you are near one 🍕“
