“The food is amazing- authentic, attention to detail, quality ingredients... the atmosphere is family friendly but great for a date night and the bar is lovely. The staff is friendly and genuine, and the manager Cesear makes us feel like family. It's with the drive ... however I live 5 minutes away so this place is my go to for dinner and drinks.“

“Jimmy's used to be kind of a hole in the wall but has now upgraded to their location on Montrose. It serves DELISH true NY style pizza. As a New England native in Chicago, Jimmy's is the only reliable NY slice around. You won't be disappointed. That being said, its better to get a whole pie than a reheated slice for that perfect experience. Garlic knots are so tasty and their fresh marinara is the perfect addition- tell your spouse to beware of your garlic breath! Salads are great also! Wait times for a pie on weekends/nights is a little tricky but worth it! Dining in is great- lots of high tops and booths for all preference. I met Jimmy once and if I remember correctly, he IS from NY... so its definitely original!“

“I got fettuccine Alfredo. It was good. I also got the drink with the rose and it was also good. My friends got a pizza and it was good. We dresses up and took pictures and they were very understanding and let us take pictures everywhere we want in the restaurant. We would ask if it's ok and almost every worker would say yes with a smile.“

“This was my first visit and I was a little overwhelmed. I came for a slice for lunch and was amazed by all the options. Fresh pasta, chicken parm, sandwiches, calzones and so much more all ready to go. I ordered my pizza and there was a cannoli in front of me in the case so I had to get that. While I was waiting for my pizza to be warmed up I admired the Gelato selection and ended up adding on a half pint of key lime pie Gelato. The slice, cannoli and Gelato came to $15. “Sunday lunch was a wonderful experience for several reasons. The restaurant was open according to their posted store hours. A few years ago, this would have been a silly compliment. But these days, we have had several encounters in which we would arrive at an eatery and notice the doors are still locked even though it's past their usual store open hours. Our party of six shared the smoked trout dip, calamari, charred pepperoni pizza, white mushroom and truffle pizza, Italian cheesecake, and tiramisu. The smoked trout dip is a tad high on sodium but I really like how it was served with flaxseed crackers. The pizza are served Romana style, therefore rectangular and fluffy. The crust is thin but with a crunch. Even better, they are half-price on Sundays!“

I had an excellent shrimp and crab cake po boy (pictured) and my companion had the whitefish dinner. The place had a steady stream of locals—this deli is clearly a local lunch hot spot. And for good reason—good food and good value. Not much seating inside, but a decent-sized patio out back which will be great in warm weather.“

We ordered a Hawaiian BBQ pizza, but were surprised to find no pineapple chunks when we opened the box. Instead, they had blended the pineapple into the sauce, creating a deliciously unique flavor. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I'm always cautious about cheese quality since it can make me quite gassy. Luckily, this pizza didn't cause me any discomfort and paired perfectly with the beer we had. It really made our weekend special. Definitely give it a try if you have the chance!“

“A fantastic place to have deep dish pizza in Chicago! A friend recommended this as we are from out of country. Would definitely come back again for their deep dish pizza stuffed crust. When I think about a smash burger this is the joint I’ll now imagine in my mind.I lived in SoCal for 10 years and only returned to Chicago last year. “We went to celebrate my 50th Birthday, the establishment was suggested to us by a family member. The service was excellent, the staff is very well trained. The food was affordable and delicious, on point !!! Highly recommend it. Super thin and crispy and the sausage was glorious, not greasy at all and full of fennel seed flavor. Josh(one of the owners)took our order and chatted with us. He was extremely welcoming and kind. Even brought us glasses for the bottle of wine we brought with us. We also tried the Superman ice cream, which I hadn’t heard of before, that too is made in house and was delicious. There are 3 booths that fit 4 for seating and also just enough room for ordering at the counter and for people waiting for takeout and delivery orders. We went on Friday and were able to grab a table when we arrived around 5:30. Within 30-45 minutes, the other tables were occupied as well. We tried at least one of each of the main staple Columbian delicacies- pan de bono, pan de bono with guava , pan de bono con queso( our favs)YUM! And well, it's very very good, the baristas make good café con leche! . The best part, not only does their coffee and food menu offer a good variety, they are open until 9pm daily.. I stop in for coffee here at least 3/4 x's a week. That's how good the coffee and treats are. If you decide to sit and enjoy, the salsa music playing over the speakers will keep you dancing in your seat.. their staff are all attentive and very friendly ,making the whole experience nice. Tip, if you order any of the pan de bonos or empanadas, ask that they warm them up for ( they are alot better warmer. This place is a winner !“

Decided to call and the manager answered and was able to accommodate five of us in front of a TV at a table to watch March madness . I’m not sure if it was recently renovated, but it was very clean and well kept.The food is wonderful. We had some deep dish and some thin crust. It was so authentic & so delicious!“

He was attentive but not impatient as we took our time to enjoy the full dining experience that included wine, appetizers, entrees, and after dinner drinks. He also made a great wine recommendation. The rest of the wait staff was very helpful as well, our water glasses were always full and dishes were cleared quickly. Our meals were delicious and hot when brought to the table. Three of us had the salmon a la avocado. It was perfectly cooked with the right serving size and included greens, fingerling potatoes, and asparagus.
