“Catered by Design was an incredible vendor to work with and made wedding planning so much easier. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to contact and work with. The food was great and we had so many options to choose from. The service was wonderful during the cocktail hour and dinner. They were extremely receptive to any request we had and during the wedding. Our head captain was so attentive to my husband and I making sure everything was going well and checking in to see if we needed anything. We had an amazing experience with everyone on the team and we have only heard great reviews from guests about the food! We loved working with Catered By Design and highly recommend their services!!“

“We hired Pear Tree Hel's Kitchen to cater a brunch for our daughter's 1st birthday. They were professional, responsive, flexible re: our vegetarian menu. The food itself was also absolutely delicious. So many people at the party asked us where we got the catering from. Would absolutely recommend them do anyone! Laura was also incredibly helpful.“

“Bauer's was incredible to work with. Family owned, and we were well taken care of during the entire process. Not only was the food AMAZING, but they also provided us with many things for the reception set up (card holder, beautiful cake stand). They were extremely professional and clearly know what they are doing from all their years of service. Mary was available for every phone call, text, email to discuss details and answer questions. She even contacted a vendor for us when we could not reach them. Eddie prepared the food perfectly and everything from appetizers to entrees was delicious and had our guests all talking about the food. The staff was SO NICE and was happy to help with my every need. They all served with a friendly smile.“

“Great place! The Bagels, Salmon spread, tuna salad and egg white salad are just a few of my favorites here. Everything is amazing and fresh. Staff is friendly and service is fast! Sandwiches are made to order with all the right toppings. Would highly recommend them and they cater too!“

“Well this is a very late review.. Froggy's catered for my wedding in 2016 and it was top notch. I was Soo happy to see them in business when many has perished. It shows the quality of the food and the team. We still talk about the food and THE CAKE and how delicious everything was. I believe the owner/ the person who was leading at the time was Thierry (Might be the wrong spelling) but if you are reading this , I hope you are doing healthy and happy. Wife, myself and the kids will stop by for some food and cake one of these days.

“Juli was great! Not only did she show up on time with AMAZING looking food, the finished creations were gorgeous!! The bagel board had a variety of bagels, multiple types of lox, several cream cheeses, and beautifully arranged vegetables. The cookie board was the talk of the brunch!! Highly recommend.“

We are a non-profit working on a budget and Kathleen worked diligently with us to come up with a tasty and filling menu & serving format that perfectly met our needs and enabled us to reasonably price tickets. With her years of experience in the business, Kathleen was able to find ways to trim the budget without sacrificing quality. Our event had a fabulous turnout and we're still getting compliments for those who attended re: the food and service.“
“My daughter and I happened to be in Lake Forest on this beautiful morning, and she was craving some coffee. We did a quick Yelp search and Hometown Coffee was the top rated place.
My daughter ordered an iced Latte, and I ordered a Cafe Au Lait. My coffee was delicious and she said her Iced Latte might be the best she's ever had!!
We both agreed this place deserves five stars!“

“I go to the Deerfield farmers market every week and just stop here. I have had most of the kinds of pickles as well as the giardinera and must say the quality and love that goes into this food is next level. As i type this I am eating a piece of pizza with large amounts of the new “solar flare “ hot sauce and don’t think I can ever go back to the regular stuff. “I enjoyed the brisket and green beans; however, I didn't care for the Bama chicken. The restaurant was nice and clean. They offered several different bbq sauces, which was nice. The person who waited on us was efficient but not very friendly.“

“This is the best cake shop in 20 mile radius of Arlington Heights. I have tried 5 cake slices of different flavors until now and all were fantastic!! The cake is low on sugar and has real cream. The lady who works there is friendly and discusses flavors and textures with me. I am thinking of buying a whole cake for private and office parties. This place beats all the bakeries in town and trust me I have been in several countries and many states within the US. Don’t let the slightly isolated location deter you from visiting. Cheers.“

“My third visit has cemented my opinion of Half & Half Pizza. The staff at every visit have been helpful, friendly and professional. The pizza is outstanding, I have tried three different pizzas with their classic crust. Very consistent with flavor, cook and quality of ingredients. The wings should not be overlooked as well. Excited for my next visit.“

“OMG, this place is fantastic! We visited on our last day in/around Chicago, and we were SO impressed at how clean and neat this place is! The workers were working continuously wiping down EVERTYTHING- even the tops of the lights and the bottoms of the booths! The food was yummy and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Even talked to the owner as we checked out to compliment her! My only complaint is that it's so far from home!!! (Neenah, WI)!!!!!! ♡♡♡“
