“Our wedding was held on 4-7-2024. George did exactly what he said he would do for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony and reception turned out to be absolutely beautiful. George made the process seamless. He handled all the details which made us not even need a wedding coordinator. The guests raved about how amazing the food was!!! Everything George said he would do, he did. I am so happy we went with the Cotillion Banquets. I highly recommend this venue for your CEREMONY and RECEPTION or reception only. I was very nervous about how everything would turn out but in the end it was perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful. George even let us use the bridal suite to do our hair and makeup hours before the event! What a blessing it was to have someone care as much as he does. He made our big perfect and without any issues. Thank you!“
“Far better than your average greasy food taquiria. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful. I ordered an El pastor taco. I usually do flour tortillas instead of corn but since they make the latter in house chose that instead. 100% the correct decision. Never had a corn tortilla so fresh and tasty. The pork wasn't greasy and had superior flavor. On a whim also ordered the Korean taco with bulgogi spices and cabbage slaw. AMAZING flavor and texture. Got a carne asada burrito for my wife. You can tell they use superior Angus beef..it was top Notch in flavor and consistency.HIGHLY recommend this eatery. Will be back whenever I'm in the area.Parking: Easy.“

“Had a private dinner with my family at Dave's last night. It was great! The food was excellent. We had stuffed mushrooms, avocado toast, polenta and pesto, hand rolled lasagna, pork shoulder with blueberry sauce and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Everything was handmade right in front of us and delicious. We loved having the place ourselves and dined for at least 3 hours. Dave, our chef entertained us and told us tons of cooking secrets. The shop is BYOB so we brought all of our favorite refreshments. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. We plan to come back for many more meals.“

“Everything I have ever purchased from here has exceeded my expectations and when I bring donuts to work, everyone raves how good they are. Other than sub par chain donut places in the city, there are almost none that I know of in the NW side of Chicago that are as good as Deerfield's. “Don't overlook this place! It's a fantastic breakfast/brunch spot! The atmosphere is very cute, farmhouse, and welcoming. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference. I loved the fresh juice and would love it even more if they added a few others or maybe had a featured one on the specials menu. Otherwise, great! The menu has a nice variety, portions are very good, coffee and lattes are fantastic, and the food is great! I absolutely love coming here. “We used Catered Productions for our wedding in September 2023 at The District in Richmond, IL. They were so easy to work with and communicative throughout the whole planning process! We had a plated dinner for 200 guests with choice of of chicken al a kiev, filet mignon, or pasta as well as a walking taco late night snack. The food was UNREAL--our guests raved about everything! The staff was incredible on our wedding day--they flipped the space from ceremony to reception for us, provided swift dinner service, and were just so NICE throughout the night (our guests noticed and loved them!). We cannot say enough good things about Catered Productions! You will not regret booking them for your big day!“
“A well-needed casual cafe in Lake Forest outside of the typical Starbucks offerings. Great size, nice patio in the warmer months. Menu is pretty large. Coffee, smoothies, and pastries are fantastic (the cookies are quite decadent). Service is great - while you order at the counter, your food is brought to your table (and cleaned up afterwards)!My only gripe is that the entrees are pretty bland. Bagels are flavorless, sandwiches need more spreads/seasoning. It's like the don't use salt/butter or something.They are fine, but quite expensive for being mediocre. I guess you are paying for the service more than the food. 2 coffees, 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 1 pastry to share between my wife and I was close to $50 before tip...“
“I was looking for an Indian food place nearby and The Masala Order popped up. It's in an industrial park and I couldn't picture it, but it's there! We got lucky that it was open when we wanted to eat. The owner/cook Steve is the nicest guy ever and boy can he make delicious chicken tikka. Good portion so I had lunch for the next day, too. What's even better is I can ride my bike there so if my car is busted or out of gas, I can still go. The sign outside says "The Lake Zurich Community Kitchen" so be aware of that. The mint chutney was watery, but maybe that's a regional thing. It was still very good. Will have to try other stuff. I highly recommend this place.“
