I usually do flour tortillas instead of corn but since they make the latter in house chose that instead. 100% the correct decision. Never had a corn tortilla so fresh and tasty. The pork wasn't greasy and had superior flavor. On a whim also ordered the Korean taco with bulgogi spices and cabbage slaw. AMAZING flavor and texture. Got a carne asada burrito for my wife. “Had a private dinner with my family at Dave's last night. It was great! The food was excellent. We had stuffed mushrooms, avocado toast, polenta and pesto, hand rolled lasagna, pork shoulder with blueberry sauce and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Everything was handmade right in front of us and delicious. We loved having the place ourselves and dined for at least 3 hours. Dave, our chef entertained us and told us tons of cooking secrets. The shop is BYOB so we brought all of our favorite refreshments. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. We plan to come back for many more meals.“

All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference. I loved the fresh juice and would love it even more if they added a few others or maybe had a featured one on the specials menu. Otherwise, great! The menu has a nice variety, portions are very good, coffee and lattes are fantastic, and the food is great! I absolutely love coming here. “Definitely one of the top 5 pizza slices I have ever had. The jumbo slice is not only the biggest slice I have had,they have to cut it in half for you to really enjoy. I had the garlic dressing for the salad and it was amazing. I can't wait to try out the other items in menu. Coffee, smoothies, and pastries are fantastic (the cookies are quite decadent). Service is great - while you order at the counter, your food is brought to your table (and cleaned up afterwards)!My only gripe is that the entrees are pretty bland. Bagels are flavorless, sandwiches need more spreads/seasoning. It's like the don't use salt/butter or something.They are fine, but quite expensive for being mediocre. I guess you are paying for the service more than the food. 2 coffees, 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 1 pastry to share between my wife and I was close to $50 before tip...“

They worked with us very closely to make sure the food package was exactly what we wanted and acknowledged that we had some dietary restrictions for some guests which was not a problem for them. Throughout the entire process Bauer's made us feel like we were family.On the wedding night, the appetizers and dinners were phenomenal. Normally when you go to a wedding, you don't really remember the food. We STILL have guests talking about how great the food was. “We used Catered Productions for our wedding in September 2023 at The District in Richmond, IL. They were so easy to work with and communicative throughout the whole planning process! We had a plated dinner for 200 guests with choice of of chicken al a kiev, filet mignon, or pasta as well as a walking taco late night snack. The food was UNREAL--our guests raved about everything! The staff was incredible on our wedding day--they flipped the space from ceremony to reception for us, provided swift dinner service, and were just so NICE throughout the night (our guests noticed and loved them!). We cannot say enough good things about Catered Productions! You will not regret booking them for your big day!“

My wife likes "Phish food"... sounds weird as heck but it's so good! The staff were quick and easy, too. There are a few tables in there, so be wary if ya got a big group and you come at a crowded hour. But I've never had a problem! And the ice cream is absolutely delicious!“

Other than sub par chain donut places in the city, there are almost none that I know of in the NW side of Chicago that are as good as Deerfield's.
