A delicious seated brunch buffet with options for various dietary needs was our top choice. I'm the bride and am vegan and gluten-free. The majority of our guests were not, but some had certain sensitivities. We also had a budget to work within.

When we met Erin from Catered by Design, we knew we had found the perfect caterer! Erin listened to our needs rather than offering us a package. She then wrote a proposal and waited for us to comment. When we had a menu that sounded right, she offered us a complimentary tasting. “We almost didn't go to their tasting buy boy are we glad we did. We went to two other caterers before our scheduled tasting with Hearty Boys and figured they would each be good, but for some reason we went to Hearty Boys and were blown away! The food is such a step up from any other wedding caterer we tried. The chef came out with each course to walk us through what everything was and how the flavors worked together. Their presentation was also way better than the other options we saw and took our critiques to heart to make the meal ours. Neither of us are tomato fans so even though the salads came with tomatoes ours didn't, my wife has a garlic sensitivity so her meal was able to be made with other flavors to avoid and issues. All of the food on the night of was amazing and they had a server dedicated just to me and my wife so we never were without a drink and appetizers were always on their way to us as we mingled with guests. It's also obvious that Derek and their entire team are passionate about your night going exactly how you want it to. We cannot recommend them enough.“

This guarantees your box of goodness will be the freshest and most eye-pleasing, as if you hand selected them yourself! From the start, Liz stood out as incredibly receptive and accommodating. This continued throughout the process and culminated in their incredible service on our big day. The appetizers, diner, deserts, gelato cart, hot dog cart, delicious! We had all great reviews from our guests. I ordered catering for 30 friends and family members celebrating my daughter’s baptism. Their menu is extensive; I chose ciabatta sandwiches, pasta salad, and a green salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. In fact, I had several family members tell me “this is the best salad I’ve ever had.”

Tad, the owner, is a wonderful person too— very easy to work with. He was nice enough to send one of his staff to my house to drop off serving utensils, as I had forgot them during pick up.

“WOW! so we are pulling rabbit out of a hat for a customer and in appreciation they sent lunch for staff from Twilight Kitchen. I repeat... WOW!! Every single item was some of the best I had. Even the butter for the bread was kicked up a notch with special sea salt! Chicken was perfectly cooked and still nice and warm. Ceasar salad dressing was for sure homemade, and the cookies? A couple pictures from our tasting and a couple from the buffet at their wedding. Don't let the stock photos that they use from the 70's or 80's deter you. The food was freakin' amazing! (those pictures do not do the food justice one bit). I still think about that food (especially the fried chicken!!!!). It really was that good. People from Saranecki Brothers if you are reading this.
