“Best ice cream in the Midwest. My husband is from Europe and every time we drive through the quad cities he requires we stop and get a banana shake. I grew up here so I feel bias saying this is the best but I think it definitely is the best in the Midwest.“

“The ice cream is amazing. The place is a gem, but I can no longer go there anymore because I cannot get my favorite candy. They don’t want to sell me the cherry the orange or the blue raspberries out of the sour taffy bulk, they want me to BUY ALL THE YELLO W AND GREEN TAFFY before I can buy any other flavors? I can’t purchase any other colors until I buy all the yellow and green? Literally they will not bring out another bag until I purchase every yellow or green one there! I feel singled out! 🤣“

“This Whitey is literally the best location and it’s even better because they have a drive-through. The people working the counter are running their tails off trying to make sure that everyone is taken care of even on a night like tonight when it is cold and like 20° out, they still had a super long drive-through line and people waiting inside. The Customer Service is unmatched and honestly when we visit it feels like you are first priority and top priority there. We ended up getting the strawberry malt and it is a huge win in our books, especially with the malt flavor and the huge strawberries inside. We were visiting home and whenever we do, we always go to Whiteys as there’s never better ice cream than this. It truly is the best in the Midwest.

“I'm so glad I found this place on my trip! Best rolled ice cream I've ever tasted, very creamy and smooth and the menu is so big with many delicious and unique options. And don't get me started on the boba! Again, so many delicious options I couldn't just try one. If your in the area looking for a sweet treat or drink this is the place to go. I wish we had one back in Indiana!“

“We used the drive up window. The server we had, (Taylor) was very professional and polite. We could tell our food was made to order because of the wait time, and it was definitely worth it. “Sometimes there sold out of cookies. But that’s ight. The employees seem sad sometimes. But that’s probably because they have to deal with some crappy customers. They also have another option if there out of a cookie, or will compensate somehow. The one thing that I’m not a big fan of, is sometimes the store looks a bit dirty. Otherwise, the employees try their best, and the cookies are pretty good. If they have them.“

“I had a coupon that was expiring the next day but the Whitey's closer to my house was shut down because of the severe weather coming in. Not this one, though! Everyone was still working and cleaning up, helping people get their ice cream fix. Everyone still had a smile on their face. And, still made thoughtful suggestions when I didn't know what to get. Amazing customer service and delicious ice cream. No wonder there was a long line of cars for the drive-thru and loads of people queuing inside! I got the Smurf/Blue Moon and Banana Nut on a sugar cone. It was absolutely sublime! Perfectly creamy, with powerful but NOT over-bearing natural flavors. Loved it!“
