I would like more meat and flavor. Also, please find a better way to pack it to go since its an open container with oily broth. When I got home the bag with filled with the broth. “The food was very good. We had the Asada Cemita and the Asada Machete. The salsas were good and one was very unique. As one reviewer mentioned, the inside is a bit confusing. You would swear you’re in a hot dog place, including the menus on the wall. There was a paper menu on counter for Machetes but I didn’t even see it when i walked in. Wasn’t an issue as we looked at menu online. Dont let the outside fool you either, the food was great and its super clean inside. Definitely a nice change from the typical tacos and burritos. Some very unique flavors.“

I informed our waitress about my condition, Hypoglycemia, which is characterized by low blood sugar; at that moment, my blood sugar was 57. I requested that our food be brought out promptly. The beverages we chose were quite refreshing. I selected a shrimp cocktail with extra avocado for my meal, while my husband opted for a steak burrito. The food was delivered to our table quickly, and we found everything fresh and flavorful. The service we received was exceptional, and we greatly appreciated the attentiveness of our outstanding waitress.“

Although she was very busy, she was very pleasant and helpful specially when I had to return my steak because it was under cooked to my taste. She took the steak back to the kitchen no problem and came back with a little better cooked steak with a brand new potato and veggies! The shrimps cocktail was very nice. Overall good food and good service. Perhaps the prices are a little higher but eating out these days is more then it used to be. Perfect location, right in the downtown market where is the Rideau mall, shops and restaurants.“
