“This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was amazing and so authentic. Their menu has so much to choose from wasn’t sure what to get. The beans had a great flavor and the rice was so good. Their food is relatively expensive but their portions are good, i have never left this place on a empty stomach. That being said they removed the complimentary chips when you dine in, that made me big sad because they're chips with salsa was basically a side of its own so Id always just dine in. Definitely a must try.“

I informed our waitress about my condition, Hypoglycemia, which is characterized by low blood sugar; at that moment, my blood sugar was 57. I requested that our food be brought out promptly. The beverages we chose were quite refreshing. I selected a shrimp cocktail with extra avocado for my meal, while my husband opted for a steak burrito. The food was delivered to our table quickly, and we found everything fresh and flavorful. The service we received was exceptional, and we greatly appreciated the attentiveness of our outstanding waitress.“

Although she was very busy, she was very pleasant and helpful specially when I had to return my steak because it was under cooked to my taste. She took the steak back to the kitchen no problem and came back with a little better cooked steak with a brand new potato and veggies! The shrimps cocktail was very nice. Overall good food and good service. Perhaps the prices are a little higher but eating out these days is more then it used to be. Perfect location, right in the downtown market where is the Rideau mall, shops and restaurants.“
