The cooking here has seriously degraded in quality since 2022. Talk about flavorless! It wasn't that way just a little bit ago.

Service is still great but tipping 25% is loopy.

The place is clean and, other than for the poor cooking, well operated. Parking is still rough on weekends.“

The product itself was well worth the wait. I personally NEVER finish my entrees at restaurants, and I absolutely destroyed the Caribbean Burger I ordered. SO worth the wait. Portions are great, food quality was awesome, the entire staff was friendly, despite it being so busy and so hot, the whole experience was awesome from walking in, to closing out. 20/10, would absolutely come here again and would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good Midwestern meal with a great atmosphere.“

“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza.
