“We only found this place because we had a tour to see the horses at Anheuser Busch and this popped up nearby and had great ratings. The neighborhood you drive through to get there is old and quaint. Beautiful brick townhomes. The restaurant/bar is adorable from the outside and really cool on the inside. The decor is local sports but it is spotless. Not sticky at all. Hannah was our bartender and was fantastic. Great personality and even shared some photos of the zoo as we were talking about it. I ordered the “St Louisan” and my husband had “The Nine”. “With bit of nostalgia, rolling up to this Ruma's location, I remembered going to Ruma's drive thru somewhere in St. Louis with family and getting a prosperity sandwich. Upon arrival, this location shared some of that same nostalgia, and had the atmosphere of an unassuming hole in the wall diner. Brock and his crew were very friendly and accommodating, even though the place was hopping. I ordered a Prosperity sandwich and Gerber sandwich, and grabbed a table near an arcade in the corner. Taking a bite of the prosperity sandwich, I was instantly taken back to the 90s, rich gravy soaked toasted bread and roast beef filled my mouth with rich flavor, the Gerber sandwich was super cheesy and buttery, honestly, normally I'm not a fan of ham, but the Gerber sandwich was exceptional. After eating a little of both sandwiches I decided to get a little adventurous, and mashed the two together, into a "Prosperous Gerber", which was a truly wonderful combination. After adding the plentiful pickles that were provided, to add a bit of acidity, I polished off my sandwiches and left full, happy, and satisfied. I highly recommend getting both a Prosperity and Gerber sandwich, and smashing them together, to make a Prosperous Gerber, for a truly delightfully decadent sandwich experience.“

Just some caution: the lobby (as of this review) closes at 7 but they still accept to-go orders until 9. If it is locked just call (until they get a buzzer on the pick up window.... oh and that reminds me, the pick up window is a nice touch).

“MOCRA is a one-of-a-kind art museum found on SLU's campus. My sister and I visited on a Friday morning into early afternoon to view their Vicente Telles and Brandon Maldonado: Cuentos Nuevomexicanos and the permanent exhibitions. The pieces were very moving, the hall well-lit and partitioned, and the curator kind and informative.

I'm eager to return for the next exhibit, whatever it will be. I believe they bring in new pieces each semester.

Entrance is free, but a donation is recommended. Not sure what the solution to this is, but parking was difficult to navigate as the museum is on campus, not near any lots. We parked beside the Coronado and walked a quarter of a mile to reach the musuem, using Google Maps to guide our walk.“

Very friendly woman working the register offered a cookie. I did leave a tip in the tip jar. This place is amazing, great food, great menu, great staff. I've called once in the past and they probably wrote my name down or something, but I always forget by the time I go back again, so I usually just don't bother to call. They still do better than most other food places around. It is a bit expensive to eat at Jimmy John's in general, though, so that's the only major downside.“
