“I was a bit disappointed the first couple of times here - they were never open on time and never answered, whether coming at 11:30 a.m. or at noon. But finally they got their act together and they've been open. Just a quick heads up, they're related to La Unica in Rodgers Park and I have to say the food is somewhat equal. There's no BYOB here but everything tastes the same like the original. The menu here is slimed down a bit and they have pics on the wall to help you if you're, como se dice, unfamiliar with a Central and/or South American menu. The oxtail, beef stew, and maduros are favorites. That gravy is so good, I wish I knew the recipe, it's so Muy bien carnal.“

I’m a loyal customer I’ve been eating here since they’ve opened. Very fast delivery of the food and staff will also ask to take your trash for you! 100% would recommend eating here for any occasion.“
“I had the Argentinian style NY steak with vegetables and potatoes. The steak had more tendons than I expected but the tenderness and temperature was on point! I don’t even like vegetables and these were great. The Phoenix flame potatoes were amazing! So much so I ordered some to go. This place is a diamond in the rough.“
“I really liked the place. The restaurant is very cute inside and has a nice bar. We ordered a couple margaritas which were good. The all you can eat chips were amazing along with the salsa. My only complaint was my dinner was so spicy and it was just fish tacos. My other friends also complained about the same thing. One had shrimp tacos and the other shrimp enchiladas. I've been to many Mexican restaurants and don't remember those types of dishes being that spicy. All in all I would come back again as drinks and chips were very good.“
“My husband and I came here for a lunch, but we were a bit pressed for time. We notified the server of this and placed our orders right away. The food tasted so amazing and the portion sizes were huge. It is definitely shareable which can help save cost if you are dining with other people. The limeade or lemonade was soo good, very refreshing! Since our first visit, my husband has been back twice in the span of three days. Very impressed!“

“Nice and cute in a strip mall close to the cutting theatre in palatine. My friend and I stopped for a quick bite before a comedy show and enjoyed the food but the service slow as hell and we ended up missing 15 mins of the show. The sauce on calamari was very flavorful and delicious with hints of saffron., mussels were very sandy, not fun!The wines were pretty good and well paired with our seafood. I may come back if ever in the area.“
