“The food was amazing, but what stood out the most was how hard the guy taking our order was working and serving everyone and shaking the hand of guests. I honestly think he may even own the place. This was a one of a kind place. The other staff was amazing too. We were traveling from Florida and stopped in here. I wish we had other restaurants with kind of service. The food was also spectacular!!!“

“I had a wonderful breakfast here early this morning around 6:20am, and I just wanted to say how great the experience was. Nancy was very nice, and everyone I interacted with was friendly. It honestly felt like one of those places where everybody knows everybody — a very homey, welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant was extremely clean, including the bathrooms, which were well-lit and well-maintained. I’ve seen some negative reviews about the “rules,” but I didn’t have any issues at all. To me, they’re just letting you know clearly how they run things. If someone has a problem with authority, I guess they might take it the wrong way — but I personally had zero problems and thought everything was straightforward and respectful.
Overall, my visit was perfect. Great food, great people, and a really comfortable environment. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful morning!
I also want to mention that I ordered my eggs over hard, and they came out perfect — not runny at all like some places tend to do. Everything was cooked exactly the way I asked.“

“Couldn't wait to dig in before taking the picture but what a special place!!!! Everything you could want from a quaint diner and the food is fantastic! “Great pancakes and waffles, good good all around, but the prices have been raised drastically in the past few years (over and above what America's admittedly wild inflation would require). Looking at the menu pictures posted to the Google listing from 3 years ago, prices are more than 50% higher! I've posted updated (August 2025) menu photos.“

“The food was good! My only complaint is that we asked for our szechuan beef to be extra spicy, and it was made not spicy at all. I know my boyfriend and I are simple white people, but all we want is our Chinese to be so spicy that we poop fire the next morning. Is that so hard to ask for? 🥲“
