“This place has been here forever!! And I became new to this place a smacking 8 yrs ago yes!! I travel here for my shrimps and fish.. prices are beautiful. Food always fresh to the taste and I will come here till I move too far lol. Parking is decent always a place to park. Not wheelchair accessible however don’t let that make you miss ordering here“

“Went during a live performance it was pretty incredible atmosphere and food. The only thing is they don't clean the shrimp. But flavors and portion is all there! Definitely recommend.

“Ordered via Uber Eats and they ran out of something I ordered. I spoke with the owner over the phone and they offered to substitute for something else. Their customer service was great!When the food arrived it was fresh, well seasoned, and was great portion size. Super happy I tried this new restaurant and I don't have a single regret!I've been looking for a Soul Food restaurant in the area and am not disappointed. I'll definitely be back soon!“

During our dining experience, we ordered a Victoria beer and cold mineral water with lime and ice. I informed our waitress about my condition, Hypoglycemia, which is characterized by low blood sugar; at that moment, my blood sugar was 57. I requested that our food be brought out promptly. The beverages we chose were quite refreshing. I selected a shrimp cocktail with extra avocado for my meal, while my husband opted for a steak burrito. The food was delivered to our table quickly, and we found everything fresh and flavorful. The service we received was exceptional, and we greatly appreciated the attentiveness of our outstanding waitress.“

“We had a funeral luncheon today, perfect location for the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery- the set up/family style food they have specifically for this type of event is great- private area, pleanty of food, good food. But what made me come on to leave a review was the great waitress we had. She went above and beyond, finding out my daughter couldn't eat much because her wisdom teeth had been pulled last week, and got her pleanty of mashed potatoes, and she was able to take some to go too. I know it doesn't sound like much, but when your 13, you haven't been able to eat much for the past week, have to go to all day funeral services, and then a lunch where your not sure what you will be able to eat, her kindness was very much appreciated! Thank you!“

“We ordered the brown stew fish and it was delicious! The rice and peas had quite a kick to them great for those who love spice, but a bit much for our kids. This was our first time ordering rice and peas with that level of heat. It would be great if there were a milder option available for children. Thank you!“

“I had the General Tso's chicken today in the lunch special. the portion size is very good I don't think there is anyone out there who would leave hungry. Enjoy the flavor of the General Tso's chicken and the fried rice. The employees were also kind and friendly.“
