Absolutely love Hawaiian BBQ Springfield IL❣️
The crab Rangoon. Always fresh, always hot. Pad Thai with a kick you can customize. Mild, medium or spicy. Medium is plenty for me and I like spice. Tom Kha—omg the broth. Could just drink it. Prices are super reasonable. Ben and Sasha are super attentive and friendly servers. They weren’t there tonight and we missed them but the waitress there also was awesome.

Hawaiian BBQ is a cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu features various dishes, such as Asian-style hot pot, shrimp fried rice, spam fried rice, Hawaiian meat combination plate, sweet and sour chicken, cashew nut chicken, pho, and general tso’s chicken. Customers can request substitutions, like switching rice for vegetables or adding curry sauce. The in-house Teriyaki sauce is mild and sweet. Generous lunch portions come with soup and remain affordable. The crab rangoons are light, crispy, and not too crabby for non-seafood eaters. The Mahi Mahi Hawaiian plate pairs well with the surprisingly light and flavorful macaroni salad. Although portion sizes are smaller for some dishes, and prices are higher than other places, the quality of the food makes it worth visiting. Hawaiian music playing in the background adds to the enjoyable dining experience. Service is fast, and the staff is super friendly and attentive.
