“The restaurant was awesome!! My family and I were in town for a funeral and were recommended by our Aunt to eat here and we absolutely loved it! The food was phenomenal!! We are from South Dakota and wish we had a colonial Cafe where we live!! Dave Le was amazing and definitely was patient and knew his stuff!! Well done young man!! Great food fantastic service! Definitely will come back if we ever get back to St Charles again!!“

“Taco Tuesday deal here!!!!

My favorite Taco Tuesday deal restaurant closed down a while ago and by the grace of the Gods this location was recommended and did not disappoint.
There is a lot of meat and it has a nice flavor.

Admittedly, I was becoming weary of coming back to Amaya’s because of a discrepancy between staff and the menu (which was resolved) and there was a sewer scent when you would walk in.
I didn’t return for a few weeks due to work and upon picking up my order, the indoor scent was pleasant and featured no foul odor - someone in management notices and cares!

The salsa verde is a personal favorite. Its tangy flavor has me licking the sides of the container.
Despite sounding clearly whiter than a ghost over the phone, they still include many spicy salsas that remind me just how white I am (I’ve had to stop eating because it was so spicy (and so worth the pain)).

If you like extra onion and cilantro, you may have to order extra on the side or source your own as asking for extra on the tacos can get lost in the ethers (but I’m realizing I may just love onion and cilantro more than an average person so take this bit as a grain of salt).“
