“We visited The Graceful Ordinary in downtown St. Charles, IL, on a warm late September day. We had a wonderful experience at Graceful Ordinary, one that's hard to match outside of Chicago. From its comfortable yet elegant design to the unique menu, every detail was carefully considered. The food was delicious and thoughtfully presented, and the service was excellent. We were fortunate to visit on a very warm day towards the end of September. We sat on the fully screened-in veranda and enjoyed the scenery in comfort. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a unique, elevated dining experience; no matter where you're traveling from, it's worth the trip.“

“This was my second ever visit in three weeks, both because of events at Arcada. My first visit, which was on a Saturday, was great! My friend and I were promptly waited on, the server was informative and attentive and our food came out quickly. My second visit was a little less impressive. The restaurant was quite full and understaffed. We were given water right away, but waited quite awhile until our server returned to get our drink order. Then again to get our food order. Thankfully the food came out quickly, as we were already running late for the start of the show. As the first visit, there are absolutely no complaints about our entrees. The food was very good!! Looking forward to another show and visit to the restaurant to try something new yet again.“

“We love CH have eaten there so many times. We always order the Prime Rib sandwiches. This is the first time 7/23/25 the Prime Rib meat was tough? “The 1st hour was terrific. We were celebrating our anniversary. Then a very loud group of four were seated right behind us. They obviously had been in the bar before coming to dinner. The remainder of our time was spent in silence since we couldn't hear each other. No fault of the restaurant or staff. Just self absorbed rude customers.“

“This was our first time visiting Riganato and after our experience, it won't be the last. From the time we entered, our server Marcia was very attentive. Everyone of our dishes were delicious. The entire staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to my wife and ensured everything was up to our satisfaction. The proportions of every dish was very large too. “The staff have been really rude to me ever since I pointed out that my tab was wrong and I was overcharged. I wasn't upset about the double charges, I just wanted them corrected. I've barely been waited on since then it seems. I tried to step in a help once when a patron had been over served. It wasn't welcomed at all. I was given the same look as I get when I walk up to the bar to get a drink. Too bad, it's really close to home to me. I haven't been in over a year and have no plans on returning.“

“I LOVE the Friday Fish Fry, but they’ve got enough menu options for everyone to enjoy a meal. The fresh fish, awesome wings, burgers, and rib-eye steak sandwich are all delicious.
