“What an outstanding Restaurant! I had my daughter's bridal shower at Mio Modo and Michael, the Manager, took care of every detail that I was looking for. The food was excellent, from the appetizer-Calamari to the main meal-Pollo al Limone and Vodka Pasta, to the dessert Tiramisu!! So delicious!! The staff was very attentive and professional. “Went to Balmoral restaurant for my birthday dinner last night. My husband and I enjoyed our 5 course meal. We started with mushrooms in a garlic sauce that was served with a crusted bread. The sauce was so tasty. We had mixed greens salads. Pea and Ham soup. The soup was very flavorful. My husband had a beautiful cut porkchop with chosen sides of roasted potatoes and glazed carrots. I chose a chicken dish and once again the sauce was incredible. The meat literally melted when you cut it, it was very tender. My chosen sides were glazed sweet potatoes and cauliflower in a cheese sauce. We were stuffed but ordered dessert just because. We chose a chocolate and shortbread dessert. We ate every crumb. Our server was attentive and informative about all the food. The menu is extensive. We highly recommend. We'll be back to try more items from menu and try their afternoon tea.“

“Yesterday afternoon me and my wife decided to go dining at this location and it took me right back to my childhood in China. The flavors were so authentic they reminded me of the meals my grandmother used to cook. Our server was especially kind and attentive, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. The cozy atmosphere all made me feel at home. “I don't visit often because it's kinda a hike for me but always a pleasure when I do visit. Nice taproom with a chill outdoor area. The beer is always great. I feel the BA program is a sleeper in the Chicagoland beer scene. BA Kamoho is currently in my top list of best BA pastry stouts of the year. I'm a sucker for that cinna/coco combo and every release of that beer has been absolutely delicious.“

“We had our wedding at Eden Events on June 28th 2025 and all I can say is it turned out absolutely amazing! We worked with Claudia and Omar they were nothing but fantastic from beginning to end. “This restaurant has been here for about 19 years. I have never seen it before last night. We were looking for a new Italian place and came across Nuova Italia. I am glad we did. The quality of food and portion size are a very good value. Its about what you would pay at Biaggi's. the food is much better and more authentic tasting (imo). It does look like they have a major leak in the celling in the middle of the restaurant. It wasn't anything that made me question the food safety or anything. Its just a little distracting from the beautiful aesthetics of the historic building.“
